  • After thinking of crossing the Pyrenees for many years, I choose my 50th to make this trip happen.
Year after year of staring at these stunning range of mountains from the window of a plane, I finally pluck up courage to do it.

Good luck, mate, and enjoy 😂 I've booked a one-way ticket from Plymouth to Santander in June and like you just going to wing it. Should be a lot less stress about running late 😂😂

Glad you enjoyed it. I did a similar trip in 2022 solo and loved it. Even during Summer it was misty up there which was a little disappointing. GoPro kept overheating which was really annoying. Looking forward to more vids!

Very nice video. It’s such a spectacular area. You’re among a bunch of Britt groups doing the Pyrenees.
A group of buddies and I from all over the US booked a private 7-day tour through Edelweiss, which provided the bikes, guide, hotel accommodations, routes, etc. There’s obviously no simple boat to bring our bikes from all over the US.
We did what is called the Pyrenees Extreme, which has more technical riding, longer days, and less support than their regular Pyrenees tour. Our routes are far more mountain twisty than yours. Our members are all performance/track guys, so we have a bit more hooligan in us.
We all wanted the S1000XR or the Multistrada 1260 S, but they couldn’t accommodate this and two of us got the 1250 GS.
I (initially) had a GoPro 9 chin cam and an Insta360 X2, though the X2 died on day 3 as the Audio adapter went sideways in the USB and bent pins. There was also an Insta360 RS and GoPro 7 in the video.
Here’s the video of our Day 1. czcams.com/video/H-L4gWaId7s/video.html

You will see that I have issues with the gopro so lots of missed footage. I'll do the best with what I have though. Its a very rural route and great if you like mountain tops. Hope you have a good trip. The big Cols are not open till mid May BTW.

Great vid Mr shed, I concur with you about one handed riding; some people can do it; some people can't and get upset.

There are those that can & do. Others that think they can't & don't.
