3D Printing a City - Easiest Method - No Blender!

This tutorial shows you the steps needed to 3D print any city. I made this tutorial based off a reddit post by ImplodingCoding and a comment under that video by HybridRican. I wished that there would be a video like this for me when I first started this process, so I decided to make one for all of you. I hope you enjoy. Below I'll link some stuff you may need:

very useful, but I must confess that I'm afraid to try preparing the file on SketchUp and exploding my 10 year old laptop! But either way, great video, hope it gets more attention and help other people out as well! Keep it up!

Mega tutorial. Thank you. However, I would like to know if it is possible to pull the selected tags exactly 0.5mm upwards 3:04. Unfortunately, you can't see exactly how you do this in the video.

Nevermind, if you just don't select all paths but just some of them, then it works.

Is this possible with the free version of sketchuup? Seems kinda silly to say "no blender needed" when blender is free, but sketchup is not

Is there anyway of just making the city street maps without buildings so it’s flat?

Yes! in CAD mapper don’t select 3D buildings! Only topography
