Whoo! Picking up a 30 year old reject from a relegated club which, apparently didn't see him worth keeping. However, any option to Manning has to be a good thing. THB a great deal though.

They wanted him to re-sign a new deal and the fans seem pretty gutted he's gone.

I think cause he can play both LB and LCB and the experience so its flexibility. Still I don't know why we're going for the Wellington, that Brazillian LB he seems pretty average when we could get Javi Lopez from Alaves who seems really promising, young and capable on the ball and is out of contract in 2025.

Saints are perfetic in the window so far if im being real the only 2 signings that make any sense is THB AND charlie taylor we need to buy premiership or top flight quality not champ or leage one quality or we are going back down next season .lallana is 36 years old wood and edwards are championship quality we need to pull our fingers out and buy quality proven players at top flight and spend the money needed ..STOP BEING CHEAP SOUTHAMPTON
