girl Aquaphor works WONDERS for dry chapped lips! its what got me through ontario winters in -30 degree weather and its from the drugstore! try it out, you literally will never look back

hey! as someone who's had to adjust to the whole not having a car/shopping in the city thing, I recommend keeping one of those blue IKEA totes in whatever purse/backpack you're carrying around. they fold up small, are pretty easy to throw over your shoulder, and can hold a lot so they're good for those moments where you suddenly don't have enough hands and need to take a train or cab.
Karissa you gotta try space bags for storage! I stuffed soooooo much of my winter stuff, nearly everything, into one bag, sucked the air out and presto! I can't believe how much extra space that gave me. Love the snake plant!
I love how positive you are, even going through issues with your health. I am also affected by digestion issues among interstitial cystitis, and being a vegetarian of 14 years makes it difficult for some physicians to empathize and assist. It's great to see someone with a platform like yours use it to make some of us feel less alone. Thank you for sharing as much of your journey as you can!

I’m going thru that “not feeling like being on cam infront of ever everyone” feeling now. I don’t do CZcams but similar circumstance it’s debilitating because I want to be on cam but I feel like I seriously can’t and that I’m not happy enough and just feel like I don’t know what to do or how to get out of it kind of ....and here you are feeling like that explaining it online making videos it’s really motivating. maybe I’ll just get my but on cam not worry about if people will wanna watch because I enjoy watching you even if you’re not tying to be”entertaining”and have no makeup on 😊 this helped me understand why they like watching me... just needed the new viewpoint i suppose! IDK but IT WAS helpful thank you.

Try restoration hardware, their bamboo sheets are really nice and soft! And I know there's one on Granville I believe. So you could at least feel them first. Also the Costco Kirkland brand sheets are boss!!!

If I'm getting a cold drink from a place that also sells hot drinks, I always take a sleeve and put it on my cold drink! It's great!

I always use a coffee sleeve on my cold drinks. It doesn't just help with the cold temp but as it starts to warm, it keeps the drink from.."sweating"..(is that what it's called)? Condensasting?

Try emollients on your lips. You have to be prolific and routine about doing it, but you need to keep your lips soft until the new layers of skin are born 'sealed' if that makes sense. You can't let the new layers emerge already dry and cracked, otherwise they shed too quickly

something that realllyyyy works for repairing my lips is Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip protection. I use it as a regular lip moisturizer and it makes my lips so soft. I'm not entirely sure if it is cruelty free because I bought 6 of them years and years ago and I'm still going through them. it smells a little funky but I got used to it lol. I hope they still sell it because I really recommend it!! love your videos girl

Have you tried cold sore cream or a medicated lip balm for your lips? I often use one in winter (or any time) when my lips get really cracked! Love you and your channel so much!!!
If your on Accutane, you should try that aquaphor. It's way better than Vaseline, and lasts a lot longer. It's the bomb. And yes you can buy it in Canada!
Can you do a vid where you let us know how you feel living in Vancouver compared to living in Sydney? I don't know why, but I feel like you seemed happier in Sydney but I imagine that is more due to the issues you have been having lately than the actual place? Are you feeling good in Van? Do you miss Sydney?
Modyssey I never lived in Sydney! 😜 we lived in Gosford and it sucked balls. It was run down, tiny and had little options for going out or food we eat. Glen and I are so happy to be in Canada- we'd never consider living in Aus again 🙈 with that said- CANT wait to visit. Love the people, love the country. 🤗💗💗💗

Also have you tried the Fresh Sugar lip treatment, Ive also been struggling with really chapped lips and was finding all my other balms just sat on top of the chap and not actually fix the problem but the Sugar one is sooooo good and my lips feel amazing and it lasts for hours - highly recommend. xx

I know it's not considered a chap stick but the Vitamin E stick is so good for the lips. I use it and it honestly is the only thing I've used in probably 5 years since I discovered it.
You NEED to try Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment. It's actually from Australia. I was on Accutane for 8 months and my lips were so many levels beyond dry, they'd just peel and bleed every couple days. I even put it all over my face during that time too, I'd wake up and my skin felt the most like skin that it could. The ointment is multi purpose, though. It can be used on rashes and open skin, it cleanses and moisturizers the skin and protect it. When my nose is raw from being sick, it's seriously the only substance that will soothe my incredibly irritated skin. By the way, I know you've been dealing with acne. I've struggled with acne since I was 10 and it got really really bad in my 20's. I dealt with freakin depression and social anxiety and severe cystic acne played a big reason why. The only thing that's ever cured my acne (my skincare routine is top notch and has always been) is actually an herbal supplement. It's an adaptogen called Maca root. It helps your body regulate its own hormones much more efficiently (make sure you get a dosage for women). Adaptogens have been used in eastern medicine for centuries but don't get much hype today due to society's push of pharmaceuticals. My acne spots dried up within 3 days and I feel much more even keeled throughout each months cycle. My 8 months of accutane cleared me while on the medication, but I had a pretty good sized breakout within a week of being off of it. I've been taking Maca for 4 months or so now. 8-10 breakouts that were a small fraction of the size of my normal ones.
