Me and my husband has observed the change of the flag. It's a scared feeling. Lot of devotees are crying, shouting Hare Krishna.
We're really very blessed, because we got the main flag from Jagannath temple and I'm doing Puja of that flag everyday.
Whenever I touch the flag , it's giving a positive vibration.

A Sikh man is still part of the Dharmic fold lmao. You act like Sikhi doesn't speak of Hinduism in its texts or reference devi devtas. It's more common than you think. I'm a Punjabi Hindu and Sikh's (for the most part) are very much in tune with the dharmic side of their faith. They're a panth (sect) after all. What would be more remarkable is someone of the Abrahamic fold speaking on this topic of a Hindu deity with this much respect, knowledge and admiration. However, that is very unlikely to happen. India isn't suffering from a inter-Dharmic fold hatred. It's suffering from an Abrahamic-Dharmic hatred.

I am from same place and this time the crowd was more than 30 lakhs.. awesome mystery and still lord Jagannath ecosystem will remain mystery forever 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
There Some points I want to clarify
1) Navkalevar falls in the gap of 8, 12, 19yrs. Last 100yrs Navkalevar was 1912, 1931, 1950, 1969, 1977, 1996, 2015, next will be on 2034.
2) During Change of Heart ritual (Brahma Parivartan) there are 4 Pandas change all 4 Bigrahs. Jagannath ji, Balabhadra ji, Suvadra Mata and Sudarshan Ji.
3) Flag of Lord Jagannath temple is Known as Patitapaban (means Saviour of Downtrodden/faller souls, length of Flag is 21ft, earlier it was 76 and 180ft...

It says the Sikh Arti, written by the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev, was influenced deeply by the Lord of the Universe. It is said that Guru Nanak had visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri in 1506 CE and it was then that the Arti was written.
There is also Sikh muth in puri.

"Tanka Torani" is the best drink found in Jagannath temple, it is made up of Dahi ,Torani (Water of Stale rice), Mircha ,Orange and its leaf . When i was 6 yr old it was cost 5 rupees. But unfortunately it is banned .
Guru NANAK JI visited puri and fell heavenly power of jagannath ji. And write a bhajan for jagannath ji.

To be correct one thing. When jagannath ji change his sole that The Nabakalebara 2015 is a celebration of the ancient ritual of the Nabakalebar associated with most of the Jagannath Temples when the idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra and Sudarshan are replaced by a new set of idols; the last such festival of events was held in 1996. The period of the festival is chosen according to the Hindu Calendar, conforming to the astrological planetary positions. This process follows as per Hindu calander in which year two times ASADH month comes in a year. So it will happen 18 to 19 year of last Nabakalebar Held. Thank you 🙏😊
