I was actually trying to do a Shao Kahn build withspectral lance, charge forth and prayerful strike or lions claw. Not a lot of options other wise imo so I would love to see what you come up with.
Phantom slash would have been a cool fit for Noob. Although unfortunately it isn't available on curved swords. Closest you could probably do would be grave scythe, since at least that would sort of fit his death theme. Definitely like the idea of pvp cosplay builds since yeah, you don't need to limit yourself during the pve part of the game. One cosplay type build that could be cool would be the dragoon Kain from Final Fantasy 4. Maliketh's helm, drake knight arms and legs, and chest probably altered night cavalry or altered Maliketh. Weapon is halberd or twinblade of your choice, just the important thing is it needs to have storm assault as the aow to represent the iconic dragoon Jump ability
I wish the death blight status had some kind of effect in PvE, feels bad it’s only usable in PvP. Maybe they could make it a weaken debuff like marked for death from Skyrim that stacks every status bar fill proc vs AI?? No idea what % would be reasonable but it would be cool to have it as an option in PvE.
Hey bud. So I'm trying to make a build/challenge run video on my other channel (sorry, they used to let us have DMs for CZcams but I think thats gone) for Elden Ring and I was wondering if I could get advice; Specifically about how much of the run should I actually be recording, how strictly I should stick to the rules outside of boss fights (for example, did you use the Crimson tears on your Scorpion build for fighting normal ads despite the rule being "only heal after the fight or after each phase" -- or something like that -- ) And how long did it take you to record and finish editing your challenge run videos? Again, sorry to bother you, I'm just losing my mind and patience with the character I'm building and not having any fun and figured I should ask a much better player than me, for advice.
Hey, mate! To answer your questions: during the scorpion run I only specified that I need to heal only after a BOSS enters phase 2 or phase transitions, outside of the boss fight I was free to use the crimson flasks I only recorded the most essential parts during the run, like the items I got and the boss battles (don't have that much space on my ssd) All in all it's a very time consuming process, on average, a run where I defeat only the shardbearers without other boss remembrances takes about 25+ hours, editing and recording takes up another 10 or so hours, so almost a full week
@@RK_Koala hey thanks, dude. Definitely helps, because I've been recording pretty much everything to try and make sure I don't leave out any good shots, lol. To be honest, I'm about to throw this build in the trash though. I was gonna try to ride the hype train with a "Bleach" build but beating the game unable to use healing in boss fights really isn't my thing (I'm just not that good at reflexive gameplay as opposed to tanking with armor and a shield) but I have about 16 hours of footage and I haven't beaten any shardbearer besides Godrick because I don't do enough damage with JUST a strength build (and a rule keeping me from using it in two hands) with ZERO magic. *sigh* I wanted to try and skyrocket my views by exploiting tags and trending buzzwords but I'm not having any fun with this build. Should I just eat the loss of time and pick something else -- HOPING -- my next idea will draw a crowd?

If you use the vulgar militia shotel you can be able to use Phantom slash without using a scythe
