Very good advice! My favorite music story of all time: a friend was visiting Pablo Casals at his house. In the morning when the visitor woke up, he could hear Casals was already up and practicing scales, very very slowly. Later, the visitor asked Casals, "You're the greatest cello player in the world; why do you practice scales so slowly." Casals responded: "I always practice as if I will live forever."

This is really interesting and helpful my daughter is 2 years and 7 months old and she's been playing my cello since she was 1 years old what age do you recommend getting them started in lessons with the cello some tell me 4 some tell me 5 I would love advice on kids and what age should they should start playing the cello this is really a great way to teach kids to be gentle with cellos
