Jean Francois Bonnel, excellent tenor playing but equally at home on clarinet, alto and soprono like Bob Wilber , well travelled too and still active player around Europe.
I don’t think Benny Goodman was still alive to have heard Wilber’s renewal of arrangements made for Benny which he never played ! all credit to Bob’s love of the clarinet.
rest in peace bob wilber only found out about you a few weeks ago you have inspired me to play the clarinet...thank you for your music and talent
bob and the big band sounding fantastic as always RIP to a great man we will never hear sounds like it again sad.
