Unfortunately the original one didn't live to tell the tale..Just because the Fire Archon died doesn't mean he/she's weaker than Zhongli.
Archon war was brutal enemies were all over the the place.
Zhongli is strong though, but he was more of a brute before Ghuizong taught him about combat tactics.
