Late 2023 and still waiting for the advanced keyframing update :(
Thank you for your note--we are working on new features, and we're not about to release them before they're ready. We understand your eagerness, and thank you for your patience.
One more vote for advanced key framing. I really need it.
Even lesser programs have that feature. LumaFusion is overall fantastic - but the key framing is tediously frustrating.
@@LumaTouchDo you follow Reddit? Because there's a lot, I mean A LOT of unhappy users that are jumping ship and moving to other platforms. It's been years already. My wallet has been ready for this update. At least do a demo of the upcoming features, holy cow!
As soon as easing is implemented into the key frame function, then it will take my motion graphics videos that I create in LumaFusion to the next level. I have for the last 2 years planned in my head so many things that can be done with that kind of action, i can already export my final renders to other programs with easing in and out functions, but the ability to do it inside Luma, with every layer and in multiple places, not just in the beginning and end, will be a huge game changer for me. I hope the update for that can be here around Christmas, because that would be the best gift that I could ever get.
I wish you all the best, and happy holidays to you and your families.
We are excited about it too!
I'm hoping we could get an advanced keyframe editor, with maybe presets like (Ease in, Ease Out, Ease inout) (Sine, Elastic, Circular, Exponential, Back, etc)
Thank you for the feedback--we are working on some stuff we look forward to you seeing. But not before it's ready.
Brilliant tutorial. I didn’t get to watch it live, but appreciate you uploading
So glad you could tune into our rerun! Thanks for the kind words.
Hello☺️. I’ve been using your tool for quite some time and I wanted to know if there was any plans in the works for a couple of features like
- speed ramping
- a curve editor to key frames for smoother ins and outs
- rotoscoping capabilities
- an increase in the maximum number layers that can be used within a timeline
- null objects
-more animation specific capabilities?
I love the app that you guys have made and am really excited to see what else is in the works
Hi there. These features are in the works. I don't have a timeframe to offer you on when they might be released, but we do realize how important they are to lots of people's workflows. Thank you for your patience, and happy editing!
Great video, thank you for posting.
I was stunned to recognise the location of the first clip you worked on at what we’ve always thought of as our “secret” place to stop when travelling past the beautiful Tongariro National Park here in the North Island Of New Zealand. It’s not very obvious from the highway and I have taken many photos and videos with that little tarn in the foreground.
Subtle zoom in is a great keyframe addition to many landscape scenes.
Wow, cool! The clip was sourced from our Storyblocks for LumaFusion library. Always a bit of a thrill to recognize a place you know in someone else's video, isn't it. Thank you for watching!
Since we still can't move/nudge key frames ("advanced key, framing" has been a planned feature for several years): How about adding a simple "copy and paste key frame properties" capability? (Thus making it possible to re-create an identical key frame anywhere on the timeline. - A feature that would be very useful in other ways as well!) ie: multiple key frames are identical, with exception of one or two properties.
Not a heavy user now, realized this weakness several years ago. Because of this and also no speed ramping, we're looking at other video editors. 🥺
We're listening. Hang tuff, we got you. Patience will be rewarded.
this is very helpful, I use it for sound volume. you are the best ❤, saludos ❤
Happy to hear that!
Is the image in the thumbnail a hint in what is to come in the near future?
Thank you for the tutorial this helps me so much 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Funny, this is our latest thumbnail pic, the flowers & couple. Great info, always something to learn & try. 🎵💜 M&D
Wow, that's a funny coincidence! Thank you for the kind words, and happy editing!
Awesome tips. Thank you. How can I use key frame technique to show the before and after effect on color grading?
Thank you! To do what you describe I would copy the 'before' clip, and put it on a track above the 'after' version. Then I would open the 'before' clip, select the Cropping too, and keyframe the movement of the left (or right) crop to reveal the 'after' as you like. If you'd like more specific instruction, please email our Support team: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support' link) and we can get you squared away.
Excellent tutorial thank you. I finally understand how to use key framing. Can’t wait to edit videos. Now I need to check out your other videos new sub here :)
Awesome! And Keyframing is about to get even cooler in LumaFusion--upcomingly we'll release version 5.0, with 'Enhanced Keyframing', which includes a ton of new controls for how objects accelerate and decelerate, and the paths they follow. We're so excited! Thank you for the sub!
@@LumaTouch I can’t wait :)
Another great tutorial. How do I get notified of future sessions? I’d really be interested into the advanced key framing.
Hi there--thank you for your interest. Please keep your eyes on our social media feeds (/LumaTouch in FB, IG and X), where we'll announce this kind of stuff ahead of time as well as other news and information of interest. Happy editing!
@@LumaTouch Thanks for the response. I connected to your facebook page!
Nice! Thanks!
Our pleasure!
Caroline, how can I be added to email list so I can attend these sessions? They are just fantastic!
The best thing to do with this is to keep your eyes on our social media channels (/LumaTouch on FB, IG, X), where we'll post notes and news about upcoming events ahead of time. Thanks for your interest and we look forward to seeing you in our next one!
This is still outstanding app, just waiting advanced masking, advanced keyframing, speed ramping, and few more funcionalities as a must
Thanks for the kind words. We are working on it...
Hi LumaTouch, Now last updated going after that on android version title croping keyframe does not working. Please do review one again this event. 🙏
Thank you for the note. The best way to reach us with bug reports will be via our Support channel: lumatouch.co/Support (tap 'email Support' link). If you send a note describing what you're seeing we will let the developers know so we can get it fixed ASAP. Happy editing!
The title tip is great. I’ve been chopping up my titles, rotating in the editor etc. Any chance you will be adding the feature that adds the lyrics of your song while it plays. The key frame tip will help w the timing hits. All for the ability of creating a lyrics video. I tried something different on our last lyric video, Sweet & Lovely Girl verses using more of the transitions features in Love so Beautiful. I love using LumaFusion. Thanks again for your tutorial. 🎵💜 Dawn
Thank you for the kind note, Dawn. We are looking into what it might take to include such a feature, so I appreciate the feedback on how it would be of use to you. Happy editing!
@@LumaTouch awesome, thanks!
🎵💜
👍 do you have one on marsking?
Hi there, not yet. But if you have particular needs, our Support team might be able to help you create the effect you're looking for: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support' link). Thanks for watching, and happy editing!
BUG ! ! ! Hello, as you have noticed now by yourself at the end of your video, the screen pointer has a bug (for over a long time now). Please fix it, because i’d like to use it, but it is very annoying if several pointers stay on the screen. By the way, thank you for the best app in video-editing, kind regards Ton Mulders
Hi there Ton, and thanks for the note. We feel your pain. The best things to do when you encounter the persistent 'Show Touches' ball is to force quit the app, reboot your device, then reset LumaFusion to the Default Settings under the Cleanup menu. Also best to be certain you're updated to the most current iOS and LumaFusion versions. After that, if you see it again, you can generally get rid of it by rebooting the app. Hope that's helpful. Kind regards and Happy Editing!
Do we have speedramp now?
yes, we have had speedramping for many years.
Where is speed ramping? I might be getting confused but I didn’t think we had easy ease functionality in Lumafusion. Would love it if we did!
@@Ponk_80 are you sure? I’ll double check.
Nope ..😢😢
@@Ponk_80..nope..😢
This will have to be re done once version 5.0 comes out.
We will be running a variety of workshops to accompany our new features. Look out for them as we advertise - and hope to see you there @Ponk_80!
When will you be adding more tracks for LumaFusion? I find it frustrating, especially when creating Lyric videos. Even a couple more would be helpful.
Hi there--thank you for the note. This is definitely something that's on our radar, and I am optimistic it'll find its way into a future release.
That would be nice Jo & Barrie. I have in the past, done all the video editing, rendered it then made a new project where I add the lyrics so ample tracks. But my request is a Lyric function that would add the lyrics for you.
🎵💜 M&D
3 and a half years ago, I figured out a way to do easing in and out inside the app, just using rotation with rendering just two clips and just 3 steps in all. But I didn’t think that people would be interested, since people back then, wanted everything to be done without rendering in between steps, so I skipped doing a tutorial about it, then forgot all about that project, and then stumbled upon it just a week ago, and now with the new update just over the next few hills, it seems pretty useless now.
Well, now you've got us curious--I'm not immediately able to picture how that might work. We'd love to see the tutorial.
I need keyframe + curve
Your wish is our command! Version 5.0 (coming soon) will offer this functionality.
