Very good as well, I'm very that I found your channel.
Thank you I'm glad you appreciate!
Very nice of you and I do appreciate you actitude, thanks. DO NOT STOP MY FRIEND.
I have the CDR-70 myself and the duo is the only monotron I don't own I actually did a similar experiment on my boss RV-6 reverb with my monotron delay and got a really cool cinematic sound using the shimmer reverb on the boss and I controlled the timber using the tone knob for the shimmer
sounds like a great setup. Thanks for sharing!
Great result, good work!
Thanks!
Great video showcasing what can be done with minimal equipment!
you got the mood right.
Total wickedness! :D I love the simplicity!
This sounds amazing ! A huge reverb can make basically anything sound epic and cinematic.
What you are doing with the Monotron Duo here reminds me of old BBC Radiophonics soundtracks from the 70s, which were also done by getting super creative with very "lo fi" setups.
The reverb makes such a difference here, I want to go looking to see if anyone has a recording of Bladerunner score, without any effects.
Yes, the right effects on this little cheap machines can really make everything come to life
Another excellent video.
Great mood recreation, love this type of video.
Great stuff! Monotron Delay does it without outboard fx. It gets trippy as hell.
I made other videos with it 😉
Very cool !
Sounds amazing, I need one...
Tasty stuff, my guy. Glad i found this channel. 👍🏾
I'm also glad to be useful. Let's keep in touch. Cheers
That was cool. I have a Monotron duo and the Monotron delay. I'd bet together you might get more effect along with the chorus?
Definitely. I have explored some of the possibilities of the two of them in another video of mine, check my channel if you are interested 😉 thanks and cheers
Great sound
I'd say it's going more towards Dune2. Great stuff!
I'll take that too! 😆 Thanks
Really well done!
Thanks!
Stalker (1979) vibes.
I'll check that out
ok so you're going mono INTO the MS-70 so i just wanna know if i should go for the cheaper MS-50, because i will be using it in the same way you're using yours here in this video. any info appreciated i am trying to learn this stuff.
Hi. MS50 and 70 are similar but the second one is stereo, so for my needs is better. Yes the input is mono and the output is stereo because there are some stereo effects in the chain that do the magic. Keep on !
cool lil synth it is the best sound generator of the Monotrons imo, however tuning the pitch is a pain and I usually keep a tuner handy just to get the notes or auto tune the samples later
Yep it's not easy to use it with other sound sources and keep it in tune, but it really sounds great
having resonsnce is really nice. the original monotron has it. but the monotron delay lacks it. why camt they make a monotron rhat has it all
It would be great to have a monotron delay with resonance and also octave choice. There's always the possibility to modify it but you need some skills
How do you get rid of the buzz when recording?
Well... You don't. It becomes part of the composition 😆
Anyway, use a good audio interface and good cables, cut the low rumble under 30hz
Meanwhile, a poor kid with nothing but a piezo electric microphone and a few metal strings...
Sorry but I didn't understand what you mean with this comment 🤔
@@ElectroMagnetic_AmbientMusic Might aswell ignore it. Just sayin', some kids barely have what we can afford nowadays, but nonetheless they still make beautiful sounds with whatever they have.
Hey, that's cheating! The multistomp can do all things 😂
Oops guilty 😆
Sounds like a robotic whale!
Never thought that way 😆
