The texturing on the handle is an absolutely gorgeous surprise.
I love the beautiful stain job, with the grain reversal revealing the unique and beautiful grain of the fir. Looks so much more beautiful and unique than the resin movie versions.
This is stunning! Minerva McGonagall is by far my favorite character. Hermione‘s wand is always been my favorite though. It would be amazing if you tackled hers!

These videos are so incredible to watch. If you decide to do more videos like this, I would personally love to see how you’d make a wand with an especially unique amount of detail (like Voldemort’s.) The editing, and attention to every aspect of design is so mesmerizing and enjoyable to see done.

Working my way through these wands, your ability to bring them to life is outstanding...the mass produced ones look good but theyre not a patch on your hand made versions. I also have a feeling with the amount that got broken in filming no one would dare use yours on set :0)

While it hasn't been confirmed, I believe Fred Weasley's wand was made of spruce. It fits with the style as well as how Garrick Ollivander describes the properties of spruce as a wand wood.

@@garricksapprentice Keep 'em coming, mate. I've made a simple wand for my 4yo son one year back from a wooden spoon, using a knife, sand paper and a woodburning tool :) ... this is completely another level. The details, everything ... simple ... one might say ... magical!

Yes, an old piece of pine (fir is more a generic family of trees)
