- "The guest warms my heart every time I watch this appraisal probably because she reminds me of my Grammy Esther. Oh...and the brooches are magnificent examples of modern art!"

@@kathyflorcruz552 Not true. This one isn't behind a paywall. Just close any pop-up windows that appear by clicking the x, usually at the top right.
This woman must be 95 years old, and she's sharp as a tack with an amazing memory. Bless her.
Shes like 60 lol...
@@KentRoads lt if she got these when she was 16 in the late 1930s....
@@KentRoads you're like stupid lol
And so good looking and chic!!!
Bit Stream,
She was 16 years old in the 1930's....she's waaaay past 60 (and she is fabulous!)
Dear heart, I have not heard someone say that since my grandmother passed away. What a lovely lady.
My mom used to call me that, this little lady reminds me of her, so much so, that I got a tear in my eye. Bless you Rose.
Don’t tell anybody, but tears sprang to my eyes when she said “Dearheart”. Bless this goddess.
I thought that’s what I heard her say. I had never heard that expression before and I thought she meant to say either dear or sweetheart and kind of jumbled them up by accident or something.
@@michaelfleming8490 I don’t think anybody uses it anymore but my heart leaped when I heard “dear heart” because my grandmother used to call me that. (Tears). ...
"Hallelujah!" Oh she is the best.
She's great. But I still think this lady from the British Antiques Roadshow is the best.

she’s precious!
What a grand lady.
She is also a testament how much the society has declined. I bet she doesn't have tattoos, right?
@@seanleith5312 lol as if people haven't been getting tattoos for thousands of years.. what a joke.
Oh my goodness, she’s such a lovely old woman. It was adorable when she called Peter, “Dear Heart”... I haven’t heard anyone say that since my Grandmother passed in 1975.
You could have left out the OLD because she's a young, vibrant woman yet. Old is when you're creeping around with a cane and are half deaf and can barely walk.
@@getin3949bffr, she's like 100. lol she's old.
I would have missed that if you didn't mention it. "dear Heart..." I think that's cute.
The absolute joy she’s just brought me!
Omg she’s so adorable!
Is she beautiful or what??!! Holy crap I can't imagine how gorgeous she was in your younger days. I bet her sisters are too! And I love those brooches!!
My neighbor across the road is 101 years old. Want to learn about history? Find someone like this lady. She’s just like my neighbor. I’ve learned so much you just won’t ever hear about on TV or read in a book. I could listen to her for hours.
Yeah I agree like a relative of mine who's almost a 100 years old and she told stories about World War II etc.
Love her. She needs her own CZcams channel!
They posted a link in the top of the comment section with more of her musings ...
Granny lost 50 years off her age after the appraisal. What an Amazing Lady. Hallelujah!!!!
Rose is a living library, an audible history book and one of life’s Absolute Treasures, when you’re lucky enough to meet them.
I’ve met two such ladies in my life.
I learned a lot about Howard Hughes and about the Old Western Texas Days!
I felt privileged to have met them and appreciate the direct connection with History. Bless them ALL!!!
What a WONDERFUL segment!
This has got to be one of my favorites.
I’m so happy that she TRULY was so HAPPY!!!
I like how he tells her to write a letter for the provenance of the pieces. She's been the primary owner of these for some time, and that's a really good piece of advice.
As a life-long Michigan resident, this segment is a real treasure in the way Cranbrook has been a local treasure for so many years. The art museum rocks, as does the landscaping and house. A favorite place to visit occasionally.
Is it local to the Detroit area? I just watched this and it adds to my desire to visit!
@@aliciaclaire81 about 30 miles north of Detroit, in Oakland County. It is lovely - the grounds, the museum, etc.
How we all love these reactions.. And she hit the ball out of the park.
This woman is awesome has taken wonderful care of herself. her voice is unbelievable, the strength of it. Usually weakens. We need more of rose
Lol, I'm sitting on my Bertoia replica dining chair as I watch this. Very cool brooches and great story!
"Thank you dear heart" my god this woman.
What a beautiful, classy and stylish woman!
Such a classy lady. There are few like her any more. As our country declines socially - people with such grace will eventually be extinct.
I just love her! She’s so witty and sharp. Her genuine joy and graciousness just made my day. I wish more women were just like Ms. Rose! God bless and keep her safe and healthy!
I love this lady.
What a lady
Bertoia was a genius. I'd wear those in a heartbeat.
I love the appraisers earrings! Very lovely :D
I agree! They look great with his suit.
Well, Peter certainly made her day!
Certainly a very touching backstory but Rose is a true treat! I believe this is the most obvious reason The Antiques Roadshow remains so popular. They not only share expertise and the value of items they also often include tidbits about the owners and their relationships with items. I recall watching the show in 1980 - I was 30. It remains as enjoyable today as then.
I love her a little bit... ❤️ What a classy, lovely, lovely lady.
Thank you Jesus! Peter you made my day!
She looks like she got 20years younger when he told her the price. Lol
"Thank you, dear heart." Love her!
