@@rabeefarkhondeh4377 Since most of his works are out of print, I would try used book stores, if you have any near you. I once found a hardback first edition of his at a used book store - like finding hidden gold. Best of luck finding a copy. 💕

The Human Comedy was the very first book in high school that made me care about literature. Outstanding author!

Just read “The Time of Your Life.” I like rediscovering somewhat forgotten works. Some aspects of it were sort of absurdist or proto-existentialist. And I read his famous quote about the survival of the Armenian people. There’s so much to read and no enough time.

Who is the woman? I grew up in Fresno. He rode his bike all over town, often while reading a book and no hands! Every English teacher seemed to be related to him - a cousin, a sister in law, etc. So he came to our classrooms numerous times. And where is the short film he made?

And the adjudicator(s) of The Manshead House Drama competition 'got' what Bill Saroyan was saying in "The Oyster and The Pearl". My thanks go to Paul Roberts, the actress who portrayed 'Miss McCutcheon' but never DID get a 'poodle hair cut' and all the other players 😍🙂
