  • For the first time in a couple of decades, I took my John Deere to an antique tractor show. This was my first solo effort without my grandfather at the helm. It was fun and brought back lots of fond memories from my younger years. I even got Emily to come and learn to drive the old Model A. I’m pretty sure she thinks my tractor’s sexy! 9/26/2020

Thank you and thanks for watching. I could listen to those things run all day. I know what you mean. I could also listen to his old Oliver 18-28 and Keck Gonnerman do belt work all day long too! I went to a show a few years ago and a Keck was running a baker's fan and I almost started crying. I'll turn in my man card now! HA!

@@DeanoRolls I wish I still had my grandpa‘s tractor today unfortunately when he passed away it was sold and I was too young and I did not have the money to bye it if I did I would’ve bought it! But I have an idea where it is today one of my grandparents friends bought it soul it is still in the area

@@rudycarlson8245 You know what to do then! Go get it! I know where the other two tractors wound up as well. Depending on where life goes I might track them down one day and restore those as well. For right now one tractor is enough for this city slicker! Ha.

“He laughed a lot while I was restoring it, but that didn’t stop me from doing it!” Great line and attitude.

He'd sit and watch me for a while, laugh, then come over and show me how to do whatever it was I was trying to do. Get. Er. Did!!!

My grandfather has a model g but it has fuel line problems and it doesn't supply fuel to the carburetor

Probably clogged up with rust or the float is broken. The beautiful thing about those old tractors is they are designed to be worked on out in the field. So they aren't terribly hard to troubleshoot. Take that sucker apart and you'll find it. Good luck!
