After creating an FTP account for a public_html directory for your web developer, does he really need your cpanel login details to gain full access or rather is this the only file directory necessary for a web developer? would he need more directories ?
That's what I was thinking. It would be interesting if the OP responds. It seems easier to just use the file manager and HTML editor to upload pages. Furthermore, it would seem more secure, because an FTP connection isn't encrypted which means it can be intercepted by a third-party. Whereas if you simply did this with the File Manager, that wouldn't really be possible.
Hi, I have a GoDaddy account, I've uploaded a template via File Manager, FTP, Cyberduck, FIlezilla but when I upload a folder the execute permissions unchecked, so I checked each file manually but the folder size keeps in 4KB and I cannot continue with the Joomla installation because of the permissions. What can I do to install and upload files with all the permissions checked automatically? Thanks a lot

You can start learning web development with a very low set up. Almost any computer is good enough so if that is all your budget allows, it’s okay. However I would aim for something with at least 8gb of ram and an SSD.
