    Hello Sir. I made a modification to my website using filezilla ftp but the change hasnt taken place. Does it take a while before changes take effect ? Thank you

      Changes take effect immediately. If everything is done right and you don't see any changes then clear your browser cache. It should work. If it doesn't then you missed something.

    Thanks for the video. Do I need data while uploading via filezilla?

    • @NetplusTraining
      @NetplusTraining  Před 2 lety

      Yes you do. You are basically connecting to your server and you need to be online to do that.

    I wish there was some video that gave some info on how to use and chose those names
    Host, server, password, username

    • @NetplusTraining
      @NetplusTraining  Před 5 měsíci

      Server is from your hosting server url.. Username is your hosting username and password is your hosting password. You get all that from your hosting provider. Host is same for all hosting providers.

    How can I view the page in WordPress after transferring the files? Thanks

      You go to your website page or front end which is at yourdomain.com. Your backend will be at yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

    Do I have to compress d files before hosting

    • @NetplusTraining
      @NetplusTraining  Před rokem

      Yes, to make upload easier, you need to zip up all the files and when it's on your server, you need to extract the files.

    How to replace logo in website

    • @NetplusTraining
      @NetplusTraining  Před 2 lety

      If you want to use filezilla then Look for the old logo file on the website and note the name. Upload the new logo with the same name to replace it Or delete and replace. You can do it in your WordPress dashboard as well as in your cpanel by deleting old logo and uploading the new one.

    • @NetplusTraining

      If you are not sure about your FTP login details, you can check that in CPanel. You can also create new FTP details in CPanel and use that information to login to Filezilla.

    How do u host admin using FileZilla

    • @NetplusTraining
      @NetplusTraining  Před rokem

      You need to compress and zip up all your website files in one folder, upload it and then extract it once it's uploaded. Filezilla is just an FTP client and everything you do after upload is better done directly on your hosting server. After upload go to your cpanel and handle the files there.

    I keep getting a Connection_timed_out error.

    • @NetplusTraining
      @NetplusTraining  Před 4 měsíci +1

      This error occurs when FileZilla cannot establish a connection with the server or retrieve the directory listing. It's probably your internet connection strength, but you can set it not to time out. To do that, in the menu bar, click Edit. In the drop-down menu, click Settings. If not already defaulted, click Connections. Now you can increase the timeout setting or put 0 to never timeout.

      @_____845 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@NetplusTraining I have performed an internet connection test, and the strength was fine. I have set the timeout setting to 0 and that resolved the timed out error. But it says cannot connect to the server

      @@_____845 Then It means that the login details is wrong or there is an issue with your hosting service. Check out this page on filezillapro website.
