She didn’t heal her kingdra because the recharge from hyper beam doesn’t allow them to heal
I forgot about hyper beam locking her in
I've played Pokemon Gold many times back then. I hate the Kanto part with passion because due to technological limitations they can only fit so much in that part. Kanto was lively in Gen 1 and in Gen 2 it's a ghost town. The idea of going back to Kanto is cool but it would've been better (in my opinion) if they just expanded Johto instead.
As a kid, getting to Kanto in silver was soooooo cool but, like you said it was a ghost town. Doing the post game stuff does take a fair amount of time in these runs
@@zappokemonchallenges I forgot to add, the night time mechanics was a wonderful surprise in Johto but it also amplifies the depressing state of Kanto.

You can find electabuzz on route 10 in Kanto but not elekid without the pokewalker
