- On a recent trip to London, I took the opportunity to see if I could the get the drivers of my train from Edinburgh (EDB) to London (KGX) to do a timelapse of the journey, here are the results!

Would be great if there was a cross country Plymouth to Edinburgh one like this.
ELPaso1990TX I sent them I kind email a few years ago after I did this project, and sadly they were unable to accommodate me or equipment by proxy, due to safety and operational grounds.
I might email them again, to see what we can do, but for the time being, it looks very unlikely.

So you was on the train but in the passenger bit and you put your camera in the cab
To do this the average speed would have to be about 7000mph

It stopped at Alnmouth, Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, York, Doncaster, Newark and Peterborough.
How did you get permission for this?
***** Ah righty. It's just more that I was surprised that a driver would let you put it in at all. I'm not an expert, but I don't think it's a huge hazard having a GoPro in there
