I LOVE the idea that pervy dickwad Larys knows about them. The irony in him saying that (meaning Halaena and Aemond) but Alicent rejecting the notionn is too perfect.
@@IBeMelissa It's a theory at this point but one that still is very plausible when looking at small details in the Dance. Also bc people like me are sick and love to ship the taboo...but it's still better than shipping a groomer uncle and his underaged neice, lmao
@@redfyresasoiaf i think it's a little bit weird to call Helaena/Aemond ship the taboo when Helaena canonically married to Aegon I mean, if she's married to her brother, why shipping her with her other brother is the taboo? :)
@@CatherineAaBb I agree! Helaena married her older brother canonically, I was talking more in the sense of shipping brother and sister just period. Like even if Aegon was out of the picture, that would be taboo on the basis of incest alone. Still better than Daemon grooming his underaged niece, tho!
I don’t know if the kids are Aemond’s, but it’s confirmed that he is in love with her since the description for the character of Aemond was that “he is in love with her sister Helaena and is jealous of Aegon”, my question is: why make this change tho? In the books Aemond respects his brother and doesn’t have this relationship with Helaena, are they gonna erase Alys character by making Helaena a dreamer? I wonder what future plans they have for this pair.
I honestly hope they do erase Alys cuz I don't care for her character, and I think Aemond and Helaena make a much finer pair. I love how Helaena has been given more importance in the show vs the book with her being made a dreamer. Maybe this means she will ride on Dreamfyre during the battle of God's Eye and be there to support Aemond? Or maybe she will simply be supporting him by sharing her dreams with him which could maybe give him an advantage. I feel like there will definitely be more changes next season compared to what happens in the book.

it's pretty canon that Helaena got married at 13 and had the twins in less than a year, Aemond was only 12. There's no romantic or sexual relationship between them. Of course, if the show does insist upon this then it'd add a whole new layer to the upcoming tragedies. I just hope they know how to handle it delicately if it comes down to it.
@@aemondieu by canon, I mean the book, the original source material. It's clearly mentioned that Aegon was 16 and Helaena was 13 when they were wed and in less than a year, they had twins. @@Arthalmia it wouldn’t be impossible, definitely. I enjoy this theory myself as it adds a wonderful layer to the act of vengeance.
