For the non Liverpool fans who don't understand the hype, his 60.81% in 467 games win ratio says it all. Real fans watch every game and he removed the gloom and gave us something to look forward to. Trophies are wonderful but they're ephemeral, the journey is the real pleasure in being a football fan, watching your team win matches and in style.
They don't understand the hype because they don't know where the club was 9 years ago. The club was damaged, the fans did not believe in the club, the squad was very average, the training facilities were aging, the stadium needed love.
There was clear divide between the players and the fans. Klopp came in, made the very average squad play at a higher level than anyone thought possible and also challenged the fans to do better.
The squad marginally improved in his first few seasons, the team became possible the best offensive team in Europe whilst also being the weakest defence - a huge glass cannon. Just about every signing improved the team, combined with youth players.
The club now has some of the best players in world football in every position. The squad 9 years ago had Skrtel, Moreno, Mignolet, Joe Allen. Player that would struggle to get onto Burnley's bench.
The owners do not have the money of Man City, yet the club competed with them, pretty much every year of Klopp's tenure. That is why the fans hold him in such a high regard. He leaves everyone and everything better than he recieved.
And what a journey it was!
All those sad little commentators bleating on about "too few trophies" miss the entire point(s). Firstly, football is as much about stories as anything. And boy, did Klopp leave so many of those. Moments - and games - that will live on in the memory long after the silver tarnishes.
@@Chzydawgvery well said! Exactly my points are. He has changed the mentality of Liverpool FC as a business unit, not only trophies and the way football being played on the pitch. He united and integrated all elements of how a football club should be managed, from players, coach team, support team, fans, owner, facilities improvement, financial acumen in buying and selling players, media handling, instilling never give up mentality in every aspect of LFC. In short, he turned all elements in LFC, from doubters to believers. No football manager has done that before, except probably Sir Alex Fergusson.
115 FC scraped two title wins off Klopp, each by a point and needed to be state funded AND the refs in their brown envelope subscriptions in order to do so.
I grew up in a small seaside town and supported Arsenal from an early age (not entirely sure why, Liam Brady probably) so I get to enjoy great football without being too resentful or tribal if itâs played by somebody else. The football Liverpool played under Klopp, from day one, was absolutely incredible and was a joy for any true fan of football to watch. The rivalry with City was of course central to these years but there were so many great games, the 4-0 against Barcelona being perhaps the ultimate moment of Kloppâs time in this country. Thanks Jurgen. It was a very special time and we will never forget đ
Liverpool fans, they did it in the best way to say goodbye to their best Coaches. Good luck. I hope to see soon again Coaching somewhere.
ITS NOT NORMAL FOR MOST MANAGERS but Klopp is not a normal manager, he has had this same love everywhere he has managed.. Go look at how much he was loved at Dortmund or Mainz.. Klopp put Dortmund on the map & look where they still are today.. This is not normal but its is the norm for Klopp.. The guy is an amazing man..
Klopp said on his first day:"It doesn't matter what they talk about you when you arrive. What matters is what people talk about you when you leave." And boy have he delivered big time...
The club he leaves is in a much better state than the club he joined. The clubs infrastructure, the stadium, the supporters, the staff that are staying, the playersâŠeverything has improved so dramatically. Every player on the team sheet has won something significant, has the experience, has the motivation and skill to succeed again, the same could not be said about the team he inherited.
Opposition plastics and trolls will call him overrated, but the fact of the matter is he brought success back to Anfield in a time where supporters were giving up hope.
And not only that.. He did thay not once, but twice...With Borusia Dortmund, as well.. Always competing against Pep, and always enheriting run down team and brought both clubs back to former glory... Pep always enherit a champions club with a 5-time bigger budget than Klopp... People overlook that...
â@@thezoran6868Thank you! Pep always did it with big clubs with deep pockets (Barça, Bayern, City) would love to see him do it with a small club (Mainz) like Klopp did and got them promoted to Bundesliga without having to spend tons of money. Klopp the ONLY manager with a winning record against Guardiola.
@victoroliva5347 Exactly...From the moment Klopp took Liverpool as 'out of the top 4 team' to the moment Klopp won Cmapions Leagu Premier League and World Title, he spent, nett, only 80 million errors! Crazy, isn't it...Guardiola spent in in a month... đ
If only Liverpool won CL vs Madrid 2 years ago and won EPL this seasonâŠwill be even more phenomenal farewell for Kloppâ€ïžBut he gave his all to Liverpool. The players let him down on those 2 occasions. Thank you Sir Klopp
Thatâs football, you canât win them all.
Courtois was the reason we didn't win that CL. He was phenomenal that game
As a Manchester United fan I have to say Iâm gutted over the fact that heâs leaving. Klopp is not only an astounding manager but an absolutely incredible human being and leader. Iâm really gonna miss having him in the sport and especially in the Premier league
decent, nice mate
Have a word with yourself. A United fan gutted a successful Liverpool boss is stepping aside.. Jesus wept.
Thanks mate , really nice f you m
I can't see him staying away from football for too long. That passion and desire for the game doesn't go away so easily. A two year break from the game and he'll feel renewed energy for management. Germany manager?
I see him winning the world cup.
Hopefully he comes back to LFC rested and energised
He does not need the money; the media is annoying; he can focus his energy in other areas where he does not have to deal with the media. Additionally, many people are obsessive and annoying. Why deal with them?
@@academicresearch2280 He's the wrong guy. He needs his players around him and not sporadically.
I think he'll get a sporting director role at Dortmund, in a few months.
The liverpool fanbase has earned my respect after giving one of their legends an amazing farewell. He deserves it.
He needs rest, your body tells you what he wants so give credit and yeah, no doubt,Klopp is one of the greatest managers for the last two decades
Shanks stands guard over anfield but id honestly love a statute of Klopp some where within the grounds like near Bob Paisley & Huges
I miss him.
Prior to this great mans arrival I had resorted to watching the games from behind the sofa - in Kilroy fashion. Thank you Jurgen for helping me watch games while sitting (and sometimes jumping) on the sofa.
Best. Manager. Ever. He's a True Gem đ of a human being â€
The next coach for Germany in a few years time
there are people watching with headphones. Please tell your editors to do so as well.
What a man
Man city fan here. I will miss him dearly. Man city would not be as good today without Kloppâs passion for the game and his relentless competitiveness. I really believe strongly the whole league and every team within it is less without him
115 Cheats FC
Just Kloppo â€
Danke JĂŒrgen und viel glĂŒck, Anfield immer dein heim. YNWA
I think at some stage he will be the German manager
Klopp makes a new campaign for otto, in which he original klopp sofas in chesterfield style for 200 euro, but with his face printed on. You will see how all big kroos, klopp, Reus get into Calvin cyclus
I love this man so much, he will be greatly missed, thank you for all the good times you have brought us Jurgen, forever grateful to you đđđ
No Klopp please.
We want to see you managing again.
â€â€â€â€
I love you man.
final words "see you later"
we all hope so Jurgen
Jurgen must understand that yes we fans appreciate ALL the support staff and wish them well but NONE of the last 9 years would have happened without him holding all this together. Klopp may feel uncomfortable with all the adoration but the fans are not stupid. We know why this all happened. It is down to ONE MAN. Jurgen Klopp.
As a city fan I will miss Klopp and the competition he brought to the EPL. Stand up guy.
What a man. Huge respect.
The Liverpool and klopp were 4 games away from winning 3 premier leagues and 3 champions leagues. The premier league not punishing Man City for constantly cheating year I year out. Itâs like playing poker except the player youâre playing against has 30 cards and you have 5. Or going into a boxing ring with both of your hands tied behind your back. He is the best manager in the world.
Great human being not wanting all the attention and looking forward to a normal life! Indeed a Believer!
These press conferences always have boring questions, I guess that's how they get in. Rather watch CZcamsrs.
Klopp final presser 2024 " I know I can come back and I know I will come back" just as a fan of course.
If Klopp comes back, it will be manager of the German or English National team. Believe me.
He will manage - but probably not in England having to deal with the press and VAR VAR VAR plus the jugglers on pitch :-
Give it a few weeks he'll miss management
He might come out of âretirementâ to manage Liverpool again if Slot messes up.
One can hope!
Letâs hope Slot doing well, with the foundation laid by Klopp.
@@SuryaSurya-re3vnI think he would do a great job but I doubt he can compete with pep and artata for the PL title
Thatâs my hope. Hope he comes back to LFC in 3years timeđ„°
Really doubt it. I think he's comfortable with the legacy he has at the club, don't think he'd want a second run at it, but you never know
YNWA Kloppo!
Anytime anywhere, the red Army will be there for you!
I hope he does not come back. He worked already a lifetime of work, and always the Hard way. He deserves a good retirement with his wife and family. See the world, enjoy grandkids. Think about his spirituality.
He should go back to Bundesliga
Dreadful sound quality
ttteearrrrssss
Man united fan here, I'm very happy he's leaving and I hope this is the start of Liverpools downfall đWere you expecting a nice comment?
he's such a grandpa
why would somoene flying so high simply drop out and quit?? heart damage is my guess, advised by his doc that management is too much stress for his heart. of course i could be wrong,
Klopps finished. Hes realised he has been found out
đ„±đ„±đ„±đ„±đ„±đ„±
Hahahahahaha. Cute, heâs not even LFC manager anymore and he still lives rent free in your head.
Relax son, forget the Kit Kat, have a wankđ
Pfffft đ OP clearly doesnât even watch football. What a silly spunktrumpet
Unfortunately for you, he will be remembered đ đ
Overrated but decent.
Good luck for the future.
Overrated? Said nobody who watches footballâŠ
@@alfredchurchill2328 only liverpool fans think he is great.
But to bigger clubs , he would have been sacked.
@@ih8mcfly another comment suggesting you donât watch football. Why not dig up instead of down. You look embarrassing
@@ih8mcflyDo you want to know the reason Liverpool fans think heâs great?
Because heâs taken Liverpool from an average side that barely qualified for the Europa league, to a team that challenges for the title nearly every season.
Heâs won every trophy possible for his club.
9 years ago no one would predict Liverpool to win the league, let alone another UCL.
Klopps has to compete against an unstoppable force in the form of Man City and is the only manager to win the league during Cityâs peak years.
Overrated are managers like Pep. Only takes on clubs that are already winning and with unlimited funds.
