SCOPE BOXES - How and Why to use them

  • Scope Boxes are the best way to 'crop' your views consistently when you have multiple buildings or areas (large buildings with Wings). You can crop all similar views to the same extents for consistency. This Revit Tip will show you how.

    if I dont have a second buildding.i only have one building..do i need to use scope box?

      Nope.. you don't need a scope box. It just helps if you want all your plan views to be cropped at exactly the same place.

    when i use scopebox into a view.. it affects all the other grid at other views that has different scope box

      Each Scope Box has its own extents. And the grids will be responding to those extents.
