- This is the story of Sebastian, a Pig-tailed Macaque, also a victim of the illegal wildlife pet trade, who is left alone in a non-native habitat.
Please do not keep monkeys and wildlife as pets.
Please do not feed wild animals.
All wildlife belong in their natural habitat. Let's do our parts as human beings to safeguard our remaining natural resources and nature space.

Thank you for the pet trade awareness video. This made me cry for those monkeys. The troupes that were abandoned are all being filmed by vos and I have noticed the vos set up situations to start fights between monkeys , they have poisoned some babies, they have traded babies with mothers. They are manipulating a monkey named Libby now that used to have a baby named Brady but they switched her to a baby named rainbow and they torment those monkeys all day long. I have seen them hit Libby and throw food to keep her distracted from her baby rainbow so they could manipulate rainbow and it’s so frustrating because there are so many channels doing it. There should be laws set in place for them to not be able to film those monkeys because a lot of them end up dead and it all stemmed from irresponsible “pet” owners dumping them after they have served out their usefulness
Wonderful piece. If people would only listen!
This is beautifully narrated, and cleverly planned telling the story through the eyes of Sebastian, a stolen'baby pigtail turned adult, something we watch daily here on CZcams but without ever seeing how, or fully understanding why, so many 'abandoned' baby pigtails end up in these man-made troupes in Cambodia. Thank you for sharing this video and I hope your education leads towards better monitoring of abuse videos on CZcams. Very well done indeed. Thank you.
I agree with you 200/100
Hopefully save all of them;:I. Didn't know this makes me feel like crying for them
Thank you for this educational and touching story of Sebastian. Wild animals should never be kept as pets.
Happy International Macaque Week!
This seriously made me cry.no animal primemates humans or any other of gods creatures is so heartbreaking.
Thank you so much for this beautiful explanation of the harm human interference can cause.
Once again I’m crying over these dumped babies!! Thank you for this video
Dumped?by who?Usually they are killed by troop.
This story of this poor baby macaque breaks my hart in million pieces. Also for the thousands if their species that is on the trade mark. Why are those authorities of those countries not doing something about that trade. And then you get hartless cruel SICK IN THE HEAD "humans" making comments and making a joke of it as some of these babies are horribly mistreated by cruel sadistic "humans" wow I would love to come face to face to those "things that call themselfs human" to give them a piece of my mind. And I wish it was in my hands to send those "people" to jail and hopefully get the same horrible treatment there. I am an elderly lady and in my life have not seen anything as disting as these baby monkey trading. Shame on you.I🤬😠😡😤
Thanks for this
This is a very sad story my heart breaks for these pig-tailed monkeys how are they supposed to survive if people don't feed them they will die is that what you want on your conscious mind. Once you adopt a monkey you keep them forever if they are released back into the wild they will die
So sad... 😔
I blame CZcams for allowing animal abuse to be shown. And it takes many people REPORTING these horrible videos before they're taken down. The abusers then just start over.
CZcams needs more policing.
FB also. I saw 1 idiot "content creator" in the process of "training" a monkey what was expected of it. When the monkey didn't understand, or just didn't do what the idiot wanted, the guy smacked the monkey so hard, the monkey spun around in midair, before hitting a brick wall head first. So, I reported it. I was as nice & polite as I was here. I got this comment back from FB: "this does not meet our parameters of animal abuse!" So, then I again referrenced the video by name, with a few choice, unsavory words about FB & its "parameters of animal abuse!" Then I went on to describe that I now realized that if it made Zuckerf&^k $$$ it wasn't bad, but God forbid I curse & offend someone's sensabilities! So, I got banned for 29 days & 11 hrs.
@@CajunRedI also can't understand the FB automatic "it doesn't go against our community standards" bs. Yet, if we say the word asshole, we're likely to get restricted. A friend of mine, runs a donut shop with her husband for 29 years, Mary Kay rep, lover or her adult kids, her "rescue" doggies, thoroughly nice human being, got banned or suspended from every single group she was in, in one fell swoop, by FB, and she has no idea why....
Thank You For Making This BRILLIANTLY MADE VIDEO🐒💔
GodBless You Sir⛪🙏💜
Nice educational video. But will it have any impact for the stolen pets in Asian countries ? Wishful thinking
You do look qute still and you always will be qute and so handsome sabastan I love ya sweetheart ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How sad! Poor Sebastian and other animals like him who have been removed from their families.
I think I might vomit
Maybe next time you could explain why these monkeys and other wildlife do not make good pets when they become adults. Thank you.
I'm not member of this channel but I have some knowledge about wildlife animals, because I was volunteer in a Sanctuary years ago.
Monkeys don't make good pets, first at all, they are wildlife life animals, their brain only understand instincts of survival. And by survival. Nothing else matters. The only reason they approached humans is because humans approached them first with food, that represents a way to survive. Otherwise they wouldn't get near to humans.
They aren't domesticated animals, they're wildlife animals with a different DNA.
Dogs came from a wildlife animal like the grey wolf, but Humans spends thousands of years breading different species of wolf and foxes to created a new species, capable to live with the man kind and be domesticated.
You can't domesticated a Wildlife animal, you can tamed them for some time especially when they are babies, but as soon they approached puberty, their survival instinct kick in and they become aggressive
and unpredictable.
Monkeys are social animals with a Social hierarchy. They have in their DNA their craving for dominance. In their society whoever demonstrate the best dominance skills, is the one who is in charge of the troops (this is how every group of monkey is called) Every group has alpha male and a Dominant Alpha Female. The alpha male is there to protect their group and procreate in that group. When you see monkeys mounted in each other is the way to demonstrate their dominance. They do it with other species like humans and cats an dogs, they trying to demonstrate they are worthy to be in charge of the group. When they reached puberty their need to dominate is stronger, when they feel fear that their survival is in danger they will attack. When you bring a monkey to your house, you should be able to resigned to Social life, to social contact even with your family. They required 24 hrs of attention. A baby will see you as he own species and will treat you like one. Monkeys will pee everywhere and poo every where to mark territory. Owners of monkeys made them use diapers to avoid that. But once the monkeys gets older they will try to take off their diapers, because their hormones kicked in.
Monkeys have a strong smell, because they poo and pee frequently and those are pee has messages for their own species. You can see monkeys smelling the buds of each other because that is one of the way they read message from their species and other species. You can see that they smell cats buds and dogs buts. Is also the way to detect if they have some disease that they should avoid to get.
Grooming is important in their society is the way to socialize but also to gain a better position in their hierarchy. A monkey will groom humans but he/she will expect to be in a better position in their society. A pet monkey will perceived a person outside his troops as enemy or a child as an obstacle to gain a better position in their hierarchy. Most of the cases when you see monkeys attacking children is because they perceived them their opposition to get closer to their highest rank (mom or dad).
Monkeys will attack their owners eventually because they become psychological impair, fighting their own instincts of survival, through tamed methods like drugs and punishment pushed them to the edge.
Most monkeys especially the Macaques carried diseases like herpes and Hepatitis B that can be transferred to humans.
Monkeys are sensible to humans diseases especially baby monkey they can catch the flu and others diseases easily, especially the babies.
Most of pets monkeys ended up shot dead or in Sanctuaries because human can't cope with them after they passed their infant phase. A
A monkey can live 20 to 30 years. And they can't be left alone in a house, because they are wild, they will jump and scratch everything, owners mostly keep them in cages. They should be prepared to clean those cages more than two 2 of the day.
A monkey in captivity developed also bones deformity, because they need sunlight often and they need space to climb and run as daily exercises.
Because humans feed them with food with high content sugar, like Starches and fructose, Most pet monkeys developed diabetes and heart diseases, that made them Ill an desperate.
I hope I covered most of the reasons they should not make good pets.
People need to stop feeding, rescuing, and making pets out of wild animals. The government needs to actually do something about the people feeding and "rescuing" them because it all starts with feeding to build trust and get close.
CZcams doesn't help by paying these people to upload baby monkey videos - mostly abusive ones for the sadists. These people steal these poor baby monkeys to profit from them, then dump them when they are no longer cute or manageable. Its a cruel set up but CZcams think animal abuse is entertaining.
Yes it’s sad for him and others but people could support them by sending to a rehabilitation sanctuary to retrain. Yet they will not.
WHO ARE YOU BUT FROM THE GREAT DEVINE?!!! YOU FINALLY UNDERSTAND ME AND WHAT WE AS PRIMATES ARE GOING THROUGH! BKESS YOU MY SACRED SOUL!💕
And who is this beautiful lady trying to explain to us that this existence with humans is just not going to work! For Christ sake, I pray the humans could understand for our mere igsistance
What going on across the other side of the road are there building them monkeys a shelter or what
So sad 😣 for Sebastian
Good educational video. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Well at least you can't mate I hope
Thank you for fighting wildlife pet trade snd for Sebastian's story. I understand those rules are for ppl at home in general but because this was about Sebastian's story, I cannot help but first think about the effect of such rules on him now -- if people at the carpark stopped feeding Sebastian and the rubbish bins there were closed, and he had no foraging skills, wouldn't he starve to death? ie it doesnt seem like he is in a park or zoo where there is a worker dedicated to feeding him.
The story of the monkey is told in 1st person and we are supposed to care about him as he cant feed or defend himself and is dependent on rubbish bins and handouts. But this is followed by instructions not to leave handouts and to lock rubbish bins. It results in a muddled message. What will happen to discards like Sebastian if the authorities will not care for him?
Exactly! That’s exactly what I was thinking! There are sooo many monkeys like Sebastian and if they are telling people to not feed them and lock garbage bins they will starve! They certainly did give a mixed and muddled message in this video. 🤨 I hope Sebastian is able to survive! Such a handsome pigtail! ❤️
Sounds like they haven’t even thought this far.
Good video, but it won't stop the Asian youtubers. They are profiting from them. I know one channel that has 5 pigtail macaques.
Several have more than that
@@littleeddieii2002 talk about greed
Yes now your talking. Those Asian CZcamsrs must all be banned and locked up and get the same sadistic treatment.
Sad story but so so true like still alive other killed by troops in parks!!!
Não conheço. Graças a Deus.
Traducir al español por favor .no hablamos ingles
I feel so terrible for Sabashtian!
:(
Me to.... 😣
Yeah, makes homey misty eyed.
Not a pigtail but a Beruk. Sad but its common he will learn and adjust. Just the way it is.
I like your story continues
The baby monkey videos are the biggest abusers in my opinion…itts like a thiusands of these channels..and after the monkeys get about a year old they just disappear…replaced by a new little baby monkey…..
So sad..
Sebastian is still looking for his owners
Sad 😢😢😢😢😢
Mi ha commosso sono con in cuore li amo i macaco povero Sebastian non è giusto quello che vive loro comprendono noi umani discendiamo da scimmie ,,?come s fa a non amarli ma vengono per l ho più abbandonati e soffrono
Yeah I know people start it but I couldn't allow it due to starve all can't stand there and watch something like that starve people already ruined it for him I'm not going to make it any worse but I see an animal like that we don't have monkeys. But if I see like a raccoon which is one of our few more intelligent animals possums a monkey's even more human-like so that makes it very difficult they suffer and that's not fair
Somebody will help now lets this be known::do unstand how this could be saved themselves do to Man whatever is done to them see if. They'll like it🙊🙉🙈save ..me
i feel so sorry for sebastian

Good story from the monkey's point of view,,thank you for the information too,,it helps us understand the wildlife..
Oh I’m sure that’s exactly what is going through this overgrown pest mind too. These vile things would trade their babies for a piece of fruit.
i like your story
You do look really qute and very handsome chap I would love to have you and look after you feeding you really well and playing with you we would become great mate’s
He is a beautiful guy pig tail 👀😇✔️❤️
The video the poor monkey says he doesn't know how to forage he only survives by begging or the trash a d the solution is to no longer feed them or let them in the trash basically starve them out o get that wasn't the direct point it my interpretation of it though
The person who told this story living in the monkey dreams hopefully he is not monkey
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Good tales, but please be back at their home...
Lack foraging skills? All it is is eating everything around including grass and leaves
Sad story
Uploaded on my 26th birthday
Pests should be eradicated
Baby Dam will be in the wild soon
This is like what is and has neen happening in Cambodia all those released pet monkeys the man made troop called Savanna troop at ankor wat😢 there is now a stump tail monkey they have released he is not a pig tail which is what most of the released pet monkeys are and a few long tail monkeys they are surrounded by vos every day filming and causing them to fight and even causing two mother monkeys both pig tail but from seperate troop to switch babies rose from amber troop and Libbey from Savanna troop. Its heartbreaking to see and know what they are doing . Its so frustrating because many viewers think those people are actually nice and they are not it is all for show and money
Ironic how you film them all day...
😭😭😭😭
Omg.. what tear jerker..Not..the pos needs to work for its food.
Lol. Agressive nasty animal needs to be culled.
Bless you sweetheart I would love and look after you mate and keep you happy and well fed ❤️❤️❤️
Какая грязь кругом, свалка
Cry me a River.
Well since you can talk why not ask how to forage for food?
They are What We Say they Are, Bible. We are ordered to subdue them and they will fear us.
Again bible quote! But also In Book Of Revelation, It says they will rebel and attack us! Bible.
I love you wish you were here I would look after you ❤️
So is the point of this video a psa to let people know to starve Sebastian? Shit I'm all for the death of these tree rats, but the teenager is cold as ice!
No, Sebastian just shouldn't depend on humans for food, as it can mess with his health. But anyone who calls monkeys "tree-rats" are sadistic monsters.
It looked happy to me ..looked fat
Moran info
They should have feed it to a snake
Or a komodo dragon
Monkey JK family they are 24 years old and live with a very loving and compassionate man why aren't their most owners like him.
Why?Takes alot of work .
He's creepy and uses them to profit from. Dressing them up and keeping them constantly chained is not the life they were born for.
Send all to Batu caves near KL 🤭
Can we send you there? What an asshole you are
Stop feeding. He's too fat. Not agile duh.
I would keep the monkey, I would take care of it it's whole life
@monkey jk shaki
Cry me a River
Build a bridge
And get over it.
Blah blah blah, you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Not illegal to torture a nasty rat monkey ms. Chew
I hate videos like this because this is all some sort of attempt to make biography about an animal that is actually very untrue.
