amzn.to/2rwhKbI The Aputure VS-5 is a very capable 7 inch IPS monitor with a lot of features for the price. While it isn't extremally bright, there is a great sun hood, and it is feature packed for the price. On the downside, there is a little bit of lag which can be a bit annoying when you are making camera moves with your face in the hood.
Overall Great Monitor for the price. Well worth checking out!

I have an Atomos Assassin and I cracked the screen 😔😣 I was gonna sell it and get a cheaper 7" monitor, but having a backup recording has saved my ass a few times. (I've had my 5d3 stop recording and the Atomos kept rolling)

Do you know if this has the same LCD panel as their VS-2 FineHD ?

They both have a 1080p display, but i'm pretty sure the VS-5 is an IPS display, while the VS-2 is a VA panel if I remember correctly.
