- The Prince and Princess of Wales are "extremely moved by the public's warmth and support" after Kate revealed she is receiving treatment for cancer.
Kensington Palace said the future king and queen are "enormously touched" by the outpouring of "kind messages" from across the world following the release of Kate's emotional video message on Friday.
Kate, 42, told of her "huge shock" at the diagnosis following abdominal surgery and said she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

It is Kensington Palace, rather, who HORRIBLY mismanaged this entire story and led everyone to speculate. They’re public figures paid by public funds and a serious illness of the future queen should not be hidden from British taxpayers. Maybe we wouldn’t be here if her comms team did a better job about this like King Charles’ did and used it as a teachable moment - and Wills protected her properly as Charles or Harry would have done for Camilla or Meghan. Heads would have rolled if any of this happened to their wives. Wills literally allowed her comms team and Kensington Palace to not only send out doctored photos, but also release a statement “by her” saying she was playing with photo editors. These actions are what fueled the conspiracies, so don’t try and blame the public for speculating when THE FIRM lied to us or omitted material facts the whole time.
