  • In the town of Baraboo Wisconsin, a man called Dr. Evermor built a selection of magnificent sculptures out of over 320 tones of scrap metal. These ranged from a 40 foot tall UFO, five 50 foot long comodo dragons, and many more. This site is called "Forevertron" and is considered a historical landmark in the state of Wisconsin. It represents many time periods past, present, and future. It's more than the art it's historic technology.
"Home Made" brings you some of the most unusual hand-built structures in the world. Each episode explores a singular, unprecedented structure, designed completely outside the conventions of modern-day architecture. Get to know the towns where they are located and the surprising people who built them.

I was friends with Doc for many years until he passed thru the Forevertron, but I'm still his friend. My son Aaron Howard worked with him and built many amazing creations. He also married Erika later on. Both are gone to a higher plane, but have left works which live on.
They are masters and deserving of respect, critical acclaim and historical note.

I remember Madison from when I was a kid at the Methodist Church summer camp on Lake Waubesa. Many clear summer evenings we could see the State Capitol building across the lake. Fond memories of youth for sure.

I've been there a few times. It is inspiring and amazing. I'm planning to make models(both scale and Lego) of the Forevertron and some of the other sculptures.
