Hot Port Phillip Bay Landbased Squid Fishing

With Autumn comes the calmer weather and the squid absolutely love it! Nothing better than getting down to the beach after work, casting a few jigs and the squid are jumping all over them

Mate I don't do alot of squid fishing but what a way to spend an evening, it looked great plus catching bag ,fantastic. 🎣 😊

Good spot for gars too. You should try float fishing for them. They taste amazing, better than snapper and kgw

I could probably get away fishing with two rods, having one on a float and the other one just retrieving like I’m doing here I reckon. They sure do taste fantastic 👌

@@TommyTimeFishing I find squid fishing from pier bit easier than from rocks, too much snagging, further down the peninsula lots of piers with good squid, kayak would help too
