North Korea has sent its largest-ever number of balloons
carrying trash and excrement across the border to the South.
As of 4 PM Wednesday,
the South Korean military found over 260 balloons
presumed to be sent by North Korea.
Attached to the balloons were bags filled with excrement and trash.
The balloons were first discovered on Tuesday night,..
and were shortly found across the country
including in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do, and Gyeongsang-do provinces.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff strongly condemned North Korea's actions.
"These actions by North Korea clearly violate international law
and pose serious threats to the safety of South Korean citizens.
