"My friend left Islam, no one coming after them" what she needs to realise is they live in a western country and if they are quiet about it no one will know, unlike in Islamic country even non family member will question everything from "Why are you not praying?" "Not fasting?" It's not about the religion itself, but extremely religious people that insist everyone should be following Islam like they should.

If they can get u in the West they will too. There are stories of some ex-Muslims who have been killed in the West. There was the story of the Egyptian family killed in New Jersey after they left in their home. In Dearborn, the police are known to cover what's happening amongst Muslim families. In the UK it's worst. Someone tried to slaughter Hatun at the famouS speaker's corner after many attacks. Europe is not any different. Ayaan Hirsi on a death list, etc. In Nigeria, a Ph.D. converts in the UK and married to a British woman, gladly went back home to see his family after many years, and announced his newfound faith in Christianity amongst other things. He was lucky they didn't kill him but was placed in a live-in Madarassa, his legs and hands chained like an animal, with many other children and adults, their families considered renegade, drug addicts, etc, to relearn their Islamic faith by any means possible. The property was busted early this year or late last year, hope he made it back to the UK. He doesn't know what Islam says about apostate. U aren't even safe with ur family.

There are alot of other factors that can cause someone to follow a religious dogma. Structure can be pretty calming, but we simply have to just adapt to the fact that there is no such thing as a truly objective, infallible structure. The only difference between the denominations are whether or not they should use them in sermon and preaching. No researched scholar would say anything different from what I said, and would only say they’re different “versions” in the sense that the word Bible means a collection of books. The corpus called the Bible is the same however. No different than someone giving you the gospel of Mark, you don’t now how a different version of the Gospel. 99.9% of the Bible is identical, if different words between manuscripts from coping errors and translation makes different bibles then there’s dozens of Qurans.
The history of the church is well documented unlike the Quran with missing verses and chapters, or Islamic history that’s missing 2 centuries.

@@pa21thebeast First of all just because its not my claim doesn't mean that am wrong right? The christian themselves believe that those bibles differs in number of books. Yes I agree I don't have the potential to look it for my ownself. But in a debate with Ahmed Deedat and Pastor Stanley. Ahmed Deedat mentioned about this difference bibles of one catholic which is containing more books than the others and Pastor Stanley could not gave an answer on that. So now you are believing that catholic bible is not a bible...its a book of wisdom XD. Brother I don't know which Christian you are but go ahead say the same to your catholic friends. Now I would like to say the same to you actually. "If you spent as much time studying the claims you got from other people as you did saying them you wouldn’t say ridiculous things." Spent some time on Quran and show me those dozens of Quran with different verses. Go ahead I will be waiting. Because in my whole life I have never seen any scholars or person actually saying any different verses than the others. They quote the exact same Surahs and Verses. Now I know what you are actually talking about. It is the same thing you are believing which is false that there is a little bit change of words with the same meaning. But those words change a verse completely for example one of the verse it say to worship Jesus(PBUH) but now in Greek worship is three types so worship doesnt really mean that they bow down to him. But now in the new revised standard bible in that same verse they replace that word with bow down. Which it is clearly telling they bow down to Jesus (PBUH) but actually it was not. There many for example they change he to them or they which is actually creating confusion on people's head. But the dozens of Quran you are talking about is actually they are replacing that word with another word with the same meaning. Because if it was like that how you are describing Quran. Then like your religion there would've been also a division between us muslims. Now I know you will bring shia but brother our belief differs in only that we follow Abu Bakkar and they follow Ali (PBUT). Nothing else. We believe the same Quran and Surahs and Verses. And show me one video where the scholars differ when they speak for a particular Surah. You get caught lying here as there is no such difference in scholars opinion on Quran. SO if there are dozens of difference Quran then there would've been difference in opinions as well. And lastly the hadith you are talking about. Yes I agree that 200 years later it was combined together. But then again. There is a method of finding out which is true and which is false with the help of chain of narrations which even Christians don't have problems with that method. Go ahead and see for yourself how we identify the strong and weak narration Hadiths. I hope that would clear your misconceptions of 200 years thing.

Those books are considered canon by the church body but not part of the original bible. I don’t have to ask a catholic it’s well documented when these book were considered by the bishops and councils, again well documented history. All denominations agree completely on the books of the New Testament, and only differ on which Jewish scriptures are considered essential.
I don’t know who Pastor Stanley is, nor am I defined by his knowledge or lack of. I do know Ahmed Deedat and his videos are used as comedy. My best friend started dating a "muslim" french female, they were talking at dinner table in her home and I don't remember how but the conversation got heated (due to conflicting views on life) and she was asked what would she do if her son was not muslim and she replied with "I would kick him out of my home" my friend ingeniously replied "what's the difference between you and a terrorist then"?
After that day he stopped seeing her. Best decision of his life.

I fell in love with a Muslim woman and she spent time with me but then her sister found out about it and said: Don't be with him because he is a Christian and our father would kill you first, then kill him if he found out about it. Then the Muslim woman told me that we can no longer be together for that reason unless I would become a Muslim. Because if I became a Muslim, it would be from God and my father couldn't say anything more and our children would also be Muslim. And I said: You either love me the way I am or not at all, but to get others to change religion is wrong, I remain a Christian and I started to cry because I knew it was finally done. Muslims say that to marry a Muslim you have to convert and if you love them you'll do it. But I've never understood why should the other person change religions. What if their religion also tells their partner to convert? It's an endless cycle which inevitably leads to either breakup or one of the two abandoning their beliefs. Like, for example, I'm an atheist, I don't believe in God and don't want any God in my life. If I fell in love with a Muslim and converted, it wouldn't make sense because it wouldn't be genuine. I can't just force myself to believe in something that I don't believe in. If someone believes in Jesus, you can't make them magically start believing in Allah and vice versa.

In Orthodox Christianity there is much more structure in spiritual practice. Prayer rules, the Jesus prayer, praying the liturgy. I would say that man is most likely ignorant of Christianity and most likely went through the motions of being a surface Christian. Orthodox Christian services have motions the worshippers make like bows and prostration. I'm wondering if Mohammed copied that from Christianity especially the Eastern Orthodox form of it. Islam and women.
I DO know about Islam, having studied comparative religion for over 60 years, I have read the Quran twice completely, together with the strong (sahih) Hadiths.
    1. Islam permitted beating a woman by her husband, Islam defenders claim (to know the mind of God) that God didn’t mean a hard beating, even though the verse didn’t specify the way of beating, but beating is beating wether hard or soft. What kind of a life will I have with my wife if I beat her ?
    2. Polygamy, a Muslim man can marry four women, actually Islam looks at marriage from a sexual not and a spiritual way. This is apparent from the procedures followed in the marriage which I will explain in a point below.
    3. A woman can’t lead in Islam, I mean the political leading, Muhammad the prophet of Islam claimed that no nation will succeed if led by a woman. What a great respect he had for women! I wonder what he will be saying if he comes back to life to see how women lead countries nowadays!
    4. According to Islam women have defective minds and testimony.
    5. Marriage, a woman can’t get married without the consent of her father, actually his will is what matters in the end.
    6. Her father must be paid a dowry, even though it’s not clear who should receive the dowry, but either way its disgusting. The idea of paying her father is actually buying the girl, while paying her is also disgusting. Why should I pay her to marry her ? What about love ? Is she a whore to get paid ?
    7. Divorce, the Muslim man has the permission to end the marriage in one word “Taleq” that’s all it takes, he actually has 3 shots, he can get her back in first and the second time within 3 months but he can’t get her back after the third time.
But she can’t divorce him! Actually if she asked him to divorce her without a reason she will go to hell not heaven.
    8. A Muslim woman can’t marry a non-Muslim.
    9. If her husband asked her to bed, to have sex, she doesn’t have the right to refuse. And if she does the angels will be cursing her until she wakes up, besides its one of the reasons to beat the woman according to the source provided with point number 1.
This case we call raping nowadays, but Muslim men call it their right. It’s only a sexual relationship indeed.
    10. Veil or Burqa, she must cover her body and hair and her face in the burqa because her body is tempting to men!
So she doesn’t have the right to divorce; she will get paid for the marriage; she can’t refuse to have sex; a man can marry other three women; she must cover her body and hair. What kind of marriage is that? Is it marriage or slavery?
    11. Slave women; a man can buy and sell a slave woman. A woman is considered as a slave if she was taken in a battle, or if she was born to a slave mother. But a man also has the right to have intercourse with her since he bought her with his money! He can also send her as a gift to another man. What a respectful way of treating women!
The slave must be Christian or Jewish.
Muhammad didn’t have any respect for women. He married 12 wives during his lifetime, 11 at the same time, besides one of them was 6 years old when he married her!
    Resources :
1: Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband’s] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand. - Surat An-Nisa’ [verse 34]
2: And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice]. - Surat An-Nisa’ [verse 3].
Many Muslim men at Muhammad’s era got married to more than one woman.
3: “A people who make a woman their ruler will never be successful” - Reported by Al-Bukhari, the book of Judgments.
4: “I did not see more defective in respect of reason and religion than the wise of you (women). A woman asked: What is the defect of reason and religion ? He replied: The defect of reason is the testimony of two women for one man, and the defect of faith is that one of you does not fast during Ramadan*”. - Sunan Abi Dawud, the book of Model Behavior of the prophet.
*Muslim women don’t fast during their period but they make it up after Ramadan.
5: Bring to witness two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her. - Surat Al-Baqarah [Verse Number 282].
6: “The marriage of a woman who marries without the consent of her guardians is void. (He said these words) three times. If there is cohabitation, she gets her dower for the intercourse her husband has had. If there is a dispute, the sultan (man in authority) is the guardian of one who has none”. - Narrated by Aisha, the book of Nikah (Marriage).
7: So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation as an obligation. - Surat An-Nisa’ [Verse Number 24].
8: Divorce is twice. Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment. - Surat Al-Baqarah [Verse Number 229].
As you see, it is the man who has the choice here.
9: “If any woman asks her husband for divorce without some strong reason, the odour of Paradise will be forbidden to her.” - the book of talaq*, from Sunan abi Dawud.
    *talaq means divorce
10: And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. - Surat Al-Bararah [Verse Number 221].
11: "If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses, and thus he spends the night angry with her, the angels continue cursing her till the morning." - Al-Bukhari and Muslim, the book of forbidden actions.
12: Asma, daughter of AbuBakr, entered upon the Messenger of Allah (saws) wearing thin clothes. The Messenger of Allah (saws) turned his attention from her. He said: O Asma', when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her that she displays her parts of body except this and this, and he pointed to his face and hands. - Narrated by Aisha, the book of clothing.
13: And they who guard their genitals. Except from their wives or those their right hands possess*, for indeed, they will not be blamed. - Surat Al-Mu’minun [Verses 5-6]
*His hand possess the girl means that he owns her as his property.
14: "The Messenger of Allah married me when I was six, and consummated the marriage with me when I was nine, and I used to play with dolls." - Narrated by Aisha, the book of Nikah (Marriage).

@@notme9262 He married 12 wives during his life time, eleven at the same time, how did he support them, especially considering he was ‘supposedly’ as poor as a church mouse! As an ex muslim, this may interest you, it completely destroys the very basis of Islam and shows that both The Bible and New Testament contain fabrications and lies. It is from my original research and fact checked again and again. Please let me know what you think.
As the chronicles of Islam proclaim, the word of Allah was allegedly ‘re-revealed’ at the Mountain of light - Jabal al Nour, where inside the cave of Hira, Muhammad was accosted by an ‘angel’, identifying himself as Jibreel (Gabriel). But in actual fact it was Mohammed’s wife Khadija who informed him that he had seen the Angel Gabriel and that Mohammed was a messenger of god, not the Angel! This story was later changed to say that a ‘clever Christian’ relative had told Mohammed that he had been visited by ‘Angel Gabriel’ and that he, Mohammed, was gods messenger. This was done to make it appear that a Christian had recognised Mohammed as a prophet!
BUT how could Angel Gabriel (Jibril جبريل ) have given the Quran to Mohammed, shown him heaven or told Mary that she would give birth to Jesus, as the Bible says, when Gabriel and The Book of Daniel, in which Gabriel first appeared, has been shown conclusively to be a forgery!
Before this period there are no angels known by name and the first, the Angel called Gabriel, appears towards the end of the book of Daniel in the expanded (forged) Hebrew section, the original text was written in Aramaic! Gabriel was created simply as a cynical device to facilitate the ‘reinterpretation’ of the failed prophesy of Jeremiah and as a piece of Jewish propaganda to support the Maccabees! Then in turn the Maccabee’s promoted The Book of Daniel in their own propaganda literature. As Biblical scholar Dr Richard Carrier says “.. they created the fake news and then promoted the fake news”!
False prophesies and Angel Gabriel were added to The Book of Daniel by later author(s). ALL ‘prophecies’ fail because there is no such thing as a prophet or prophesy, but they can never be acknowledged to have failed!
Jeremiahs failed prophesies spoke of seventy years for the restoration of Israel and the eschaton (end), WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN, so the authors of The Book of Daniel claimed, through Gabriel, that Jeremiah made a mistake and meant to say ‘seventy weeks of years’ (Daniel 9), which meant that the prophesy was for his day (in the 2nd century BCE)
Since the restoration and eschaton (end) DID NOT HAPPEN (yet again) in the predicted era Marks gospel tells us that Jeremiah’s and Daniel’s failed prophesies referred to the destruction of Jerusalem, which was a prelude for the eschaton (end) to happen a few years later (Mark 13) WHICH FAILED TO HAPPEN - AGAIN! In the book of Revelations the author(s) makes Daniels ‘time, times and a half time’ into an intermediate period that would end ‘soon’ in his day, which we all know DID NOT HAPPEN! Are we noticing a pattern of nonsense here?!?!
All independent mainstream scholars now support the consensus that there never was such a Jewish prophet until the book of Daniel (and his puppet Angel Gabriel) were fabricated. Daniel is neither authentic as a book of history, nor authentic as a book of prophecy, it is a work of fiction, written in its final form approximately 167 BCE, not as claimed around 530BCE!!!

Vishnu is said to have raped Tulsi/Vrinda by assuming the guise of her husband. What can be more disgusting than a god raping a chaste lady? And much worse is the celebration of this rape as a festival. Yes you read that right. Hindus proudly celebrate the rape of Vrinda by Vishnu in a festival called Tulsi Vivah.
Shiva Purana, Rudra Samhita 2, Yudha Khanda 5, Ch 23.38-45 ”On seeing her husband, Vrnda too was delighted. She forgot her sorrow. She considered everything a dream. Delighted in the heart and with all the dormant passions kindled up, she sported with him for many days in the middle of that forest. Once at the end of the sexual intercourse she realised that it was Visnu. Vrnda rebuked him angrily and spoke thus. Vrnda said:-Fie on this misdeed of Visnu in outraging the modesty of another man’s wife. I have now realised you as the wielder of illusion, appearing in the guise of an ascetic. Sanatkumara said:-O Vyasa, saying thus in great anger she showed her brilliant powers as a staunch chaste lady by cursing Visnu. “O base foe of the Daityas, defiler of other people’s virtue, O wicked one, take this curse from me, greater in force than all persons. The two persons whom you made to appear in front of me shall become Raksasas and abduct your wife. You will be distressed on account of separation from your wife roaming about with Sesa ‘lord of snakes’ who posed as your disciple here. You will seek the help of monkeys in the forest.”
      Indra
If you think that such an act can’t be done by a person like Indra, then you are absolutely wrong. Indra was very popular among gods and sages for ravishing others’ wives and had done this to Ahalya by assuming the form of her husband Sage Gautama:
Skanda Purana V.iii.136.2-16 ”There was a Brahmana named Gautama who was like another Brahma. He was endowed with truthfulness and piety. He was engrossed in the Vanaprastha stage of life. His blessed wife named Ahalya was very famous in all the three worlds as a woman endowed with beauty and prime of youth. Satakratu [Indra], the king of Devas, was infatuated by the exceptional beauty of Ahalya. The Slayer of Bala, therefore, tempted her. ”O beautiful lady of uncensored features, resort to me, the king of Devas, Sport about with me. You shall be one honoured in all the three worlds. What will you do with this Brahmana who has become lean and emaciated due to his over-zealousness for purity and conventional rites and austerities and Vedic studies! O lady of beautiful eyes, you must be rather undergoing sufferings now.”…Getting an opportunity, he assumed the excellent guise of the sage and carnally delighted Ahalya who believed (that he was Gautama) in the inner apartment. Within a moment thereafter, O descendant of Bharata, the excellent sage hurriedly entered the apartment. On seeing Gautama come Purandara [Indra] became terrified and he went out. Seeing him he thought (knew) that it was Sakra. So Gautama became highly enraged and he cursed Devendra: ”Since you could not control your senses, be one with a thousand vaginal apertures.” On being cursed thus, Devendra was instantly covered with a thousand vaginal apertures.”
      Shiva
Srimad Bhagavatam 8.12.26-30 ”The beautiful woman was already naked, and when She saw Lord Siva coming toward Her, She became extremely bashful. Thus She kept smiling, but She hid Herself among the trees and did not stand in one place. His senses being agitated, Lord Siva, victimized by lusty desires, began to follow her, just as a lusty elephant follows a she-elephant. After following her with great speed, Lord Siva caught her by the braid of her hair and dragged her near him. Although she was unwilling, he embraced her with his arms. Being embraced by Lord Siva like a female elephant embraced by a male, the woman, whose hair was scattered, swirled like a snake. O King, this woman, who had large, high hips, was a woman of yogamaya presented by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. She released Herself somehow or other from the fond embrace of Lord Siva’s arms and ran away.”
      Soma
Srimad Bhagavatam 9.14.4 ”After conquering the three worlds [the upper, middle and lower planetary systems], Soma, the moon-god, performed a great sacrifice known as the Rājasūya-yajña. Because he was very much puffed up, he forcibly kidnapped Bṛhaspati’s wife, whose name was Tara”.
      Brihaspati
Brihaspati the Guru of all Gods raped his own pregnant sister-in-law named Mamata. A man with what kind of heart would do that,
Matsya Purana 49.17-28 ”Suta said:- Brihaspati, whilst staying on Earth, one day saw the wife of his brother, Usija, who was big with child, and addressed her thus:- ”Dress thyself well and let us enjoy.” She, being thus addressed, replied to Brihaspati thus:- ”The embryo in my womb is mature and is already reciting the Vedas. Thy seed will also not be fruitless and thy proposal is sinful.” Hearing which, Brihaspati said:- ”I need not to be taught morality by thee, O sweet one.” After saying that, he carried out his desire by force…”
      Varuna
Varuna is the god of water. He is praised in several hymns of the Vedas. A story mentioned in the Mahabharata tells Varuna’s rape of Bhadra another wife of Utathya,
Mahabharata 13.154.10-17”…’Hear now, O king, the story of Utathya who was born in the race of Angiras. The daughter of Soma, named Bhadra, came to be regarded as unrivalled in beauty. Her sire Soma regarded Utathya to be the fittest of husbands for her…the handsome Varuna had, from a long time before, coveted the girl. Coming to the woods where Utathya dwelt, Varuna stole away the girl when she had plunged into the Yamuna for a bath. Abducting her thus, the Lord of the waters took her to his own abode…There, within that palace, the Lord of waters; O king, sported with the damsel. A little while after, the fact of the ravishment of his wife was reported to Utathya…”
      Surya
Surya is the Sun-God and several hymns of Vedas are dedicated to him. He raped the virgin Kunti. Kunti was just examining her mystic power and the sun god appeared before her and was smitten with passion after seeing young and beautiful Kunti and then raped her.
Devi Bhagavatam 2.6.13-35”…Surya Deva said: - “O Kunti! What for you called me, by virtue of the Mantra? Calling me, why do you not worship me, standing before you? O beautiful blue one! Seeing you, I have become passionate; so come to me. By means of the mantra, you have made me your subservient so take me for intercourse.” Hearing this, Kunti said: - “O Witness of all! O knower of Dharma! You know that I am a virgin girl. O Suvrata! I bow down to you; I am a family daughter; so do not speak ill to me.” Surya then said :- “If I go away in vain, I will be an object of great shame, and, no doubt, will be laughed amongst the gods; So, O Kunti! If you do not satisfy me, I will immediately curse you and the Brahmin who has given you this mantra. O Beautiful one! If you satisfy me, your virginity will remain; nobody will come to know and there will be born a son to you, exactly like me.” Thus saying Surya Deva enjoyed the bashful Kunti, with her mind attracted towards him; He granted her the desired boons and went away. The beautiful Kunti became pregnant and began to remain in a house, under great secrecy. Only the dear nurse knew that; her mother or any other person was quite unaware of the fact. In time, a very beautiful son like the second Sun and Kartikeya, decked with a lovely Kavacha coat of mail and two ear-rings, was born there.” Tr. Swami Vijnananda
      Ashwinkumara
Ashvinkumara was the son of the Sun God. He is said to have raped a Brahmin lady and impregnated her.
Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Brahma Kanda, 10.125-134 Saunaka was astonished at the words of Sauti and said, ‘Sir, what irony of fate led Aswinkumara, the offspring of the sun, to copulate with a Brahmin woman? Kindly narrate this incident and gratify my curiosity” Santi, the best of saints replied,”O best of Munis, impossible are the ways of Providence. Once upon a time, this tranquil, strong offspring of the sun was enamored of a Brahmin woman while she was going out on pilgrimage. Though he was dissuaded by her again and again he forcibly took her to a grove, ravished and impregnated her. The lady, bewildered with shame and fear caused her own miscarriage…”
      Brahma
Brahma the creator is said to have raped his own daughter Saraswati.
Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Krishna Janma Khanda 35.8-20 “…Then he came and bowed to me; and having secured Saraswati, the enchantress of the three worlds, as his bride Brahma dallied with her in several places in solitude. After a good deal of diversion, he desisted from his amours and came back to Brahma-loka…Then they performed auspicious rites, greeted Brahman and the goddess Bharati, gladly ushered them in into the land of Brahma. Brahma sported with her day and night and was absorbed in sexual enjoyments…”

"Christians" that become Muslims are usually non practicing Christians or ignorant Christians, it's silly when they say they pray 5 times a Day as if that's to be considered an impresive aspect of Islam. In Christianity you are called to live in worship, to pray non stop, in the Catholic and Orthodox church there are so many practices that show you the way to live like this, praying all day. The Rosary, the Chokti, the liturgy of the hours (psalms). Like you said, the main difference is that one religion obliges you to do certain things, yet the other shows you the way but you are a free agent that can chose to follow it or not, and always gives you the possibility of being forgiven and being saved. Like Jesus did with the Good thief and the adulterer Mary Magdalene and pretty much every sinner in the Bible.

And just to add something, she claims that God is an "entity" and that's not the case for Catholics and Orthodox Christians and some protestants, God is the one who is, is beyond any category in this universe, since is the one that gives the universe its properties and qualities, it gives everything in the universe its very existence so, not an entity at all, God is beyond our notion of "being" since he is the giver of being. His very true name says so YHWH.

@IslamsBiggestOPP it's the same with Islam and any religion, regular people tend to be ignorant of the depths of their beliefs, even secular people are unaware of the tenants that they live by, so it is not fair to atribute that simply to Christians instead of a fallen human condition that tends us to avoid pursuing the highest good (God)

AP, you're probably one of the most fair and balanced atheists to ever live. You recognize the psychological value of philosophical satisfaction which is why a Christian and an Atheist feel the same sense of peace when they come to acceptance of their preferred philosophy. I am a man of faith, but I can absolutely appreciate your views in that regard.
