So I've been working on this for quite a while now, and I finally managed to finish it last night. Feel free to call me obsessed, because I probably am. Anyhow, I just really love these two and I couldn't help but want to make something like this. :)
Whether you ship them or just love how they work together as partners, there are plenty of reasons to love these two. If you watched this entire thing, you deserve a medal or something.

Candace N Well I think she was more scared of the idea of him being the actual devil, like how she couldn’t send him back to hell and go through with the plan when she was actually with him. She was never scared of Lucifer himself, she had always trusted him and knew he was a good man, but spending that month apart from him made her have a corrupt image of him from lies and incorrect assumptions about him, making her picture him as something he’s not. So, no, I don’t think she was technically scared of the true Lucifer, who is a good man, which is why she came to terms about how he is the devil but not evil.

I don’t think that was disappointment though... if I’m not wrong, he’d just finished a session with Dr. Linda where she’d questioned what they are and he had realised he needed someone too. Lucy was being his usual flirty/cheeky self around Chloe, but when she said that about being friends, he was pulled back into seriousness and understands the gravity of her words. *That she’s there for him*. He sobered up... but only because he got clarity. For the devil himself to have found a friend in someone after being misunderstood and alone for millennia; someone whom he so deeply cares about.... that kinda clarity definitely touched him. That beautiful piano duet right after just emphasises that and the precious nature of their relationship. ♥️ That’s just my perspective though... 😊

I mean, he's used to people coming to him for sex, but when he realizes that she considers them friends, when he realizes she didn't come because she wanted something from him but because she knew he was hurting, maybe somewhere deep down, even though he would never admit it, he knew that a friend was what he really wanted, what he really needed. I love their relationship so much, the fact that even though they can both live on without the other but both WANT to be together is beautiful.
Also may I point out the scene in season 4 when she asks him if he enjoyed torturing souls in hell, he seems so deeply insulted! Because he hoped after everything they had been through together, she would know him, know that he would never really enjoy hurting others, that he was a good and just person. he was hurt she could even think that of him.
carmel hashmueli I totally agree. The fact that they WANT to be around and with each other, the fact that he wants her to CHOOSE him... ah! It’s all so special! 😍 Also agree on the fact that he was deeply insulted by that question of hers... If we were to think from his perspective, he sees her as the one soul who understands him the most. So it’s only understandable that he’d be hurt by that question. At least she makes up for it in the end by supporting him and helping him see that he doesn’t have to blame himself for the wrongs of others and that he needs to forgive himself first and foremost. She helps him take the first step towards hearing his soul and that’s beautiful too....! I love the chemistry and understanding that these two share so much. 😍🤩

With the drought almost over I had to see this again. It flows so serene and I can't imagine how many times you have gone over this thinking it just needs one more tweak. It stands here a lastly tribute to Chloe and Lucifer.

Really, really well done. I like the piano accompaniment music, and your section on partners, that lucifer sucks at accepting thanks, and that you left the piano duet for the end, and how clean your dialogue is. The coloring is stunning too. It's just so good, please make another for season 2.
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it. :) I feel like I should've made the audio cleaner in some parts, but I was editing with terrible headphones at the time and missed some noisy parts. Anyhow, I'll definitely make a part 2 when full season 2 is out!
I had similar problems when editing my Deckerstar ship video, I couldn't filter the background out to save my life, but it was too good a pair not to finish. Can't wait to see what you come up with for s2.

ChasingSparks Yeah, now with the longer season, they'll be having a fall finale this time so there might be around a month long break in December or at least I hope it's only a month. I saw the schedule that Fox has for January and Lucifer is still in the same slot when it comes back.

39) It's not just that she's drunk that he says no to her, he doesn't want Chloe to just be a meaningless sexual experience, he wants his relationship to have meaning and he's actually afraid of messing things up with her, he knows sleeping with her could ruin working with her which says a lot about the guy who is all about instant gratification and living in the moment he likes being around her that much that he'd give up his own desire for the sake of their partnership.
Everything between Chloe and Lucifer is so multi-layered with different aspects that really add a lot of detail to their relationship
