Robert Miles wrote himself into musical immortality with this piece. So sad that he died before his time. This cover is delightfully played and the video shows how technically challenging it is to play in places. I never tire of hearing it.
I was trying to play along but it was so completely technically out of my league in some places... especially at ~ 2:05 😅
We played this version of Children at my friends funeral, last week. He took his own life at 40 years old. The original version was one of his favourite tunes - so we chose this one for when they carried his coffin in to the church. It sounded amazing.

Of all the attempts to re-write this masterpiece, this is the only one that I've heard in nearly 30 years that ticks all the right boxes. You should be very very proud. Bravo. xxx
As a 90s kid that Song has something unbelievable magic on it, also like Madonna - Frozen. That Songs are just different..
This has me sobbing in tears, like most of the times listening to Children by Robert Miles. He's said to have written the song for ending his dj sets in a peaceful mood for everyone, succesfully aiming at a reduction of car accidents on partying nights in italy. What an extraordinary artist Robert was, and what powerful and beautiful interpretation you gave us with this on piano... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Been looking through piano covers of this song to learn as a beginner, this is by far the best cover I've seen. I'm gonna have to practice for a long time to be able to play this though! Great motivation for me to learn. What I like about it is that you didn't stray from the original sound and feel of the song, while making it feel full of life.
