- This is how to fix a squeaky door without using WD-40, grease or any other lubricant. A noisy door is very common to find around your home and although many people will be quick to use WD40 or oil to get rid of the horrible noise, it will return in just a few weeks. The best method i have found is to actually go to the root cause of why your hinges are rubbing and making noise to begin with. If your hinges are in good condition and havnt had years of grinding and wear than this is the best method for you. First identify which hinges are causing the issue and inspect to identify how to fix it as shown in my tutorial. No lubricant needed in most cases. If your hinges are old, damaged and worn i would suggest replacing them with new ones for only a few dollars . For more DIY and how to videos LIKE COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE.

I had always wondered about that black stuff next to my hinges. I just assumed it was from the WD40 I used. Now I know!
👍👍👍
This is common problem in older homes like mine. Thanks to you I was able to diagnose the issue . Keep it up bro.
Lipage got to love it, Oh great video by the way. I work in the maintenance game and I always get people telling me it just needs some WD40, the look on their faces when you just alter a screw or two is priceless.
Always learning from your videos Bill. WD-40 often treats the by product of the original issue; your method fixes the original issue. Great work mate. Love your videos. 👍
👍👍👍
Fantastic Bill! Soon they'll be making statues of you mate and we'll need to keep the pigeons away. Great tips, keeping them coming!

Legend. Thanks Bill!! Learn so much from your handy videos.
I've got a bathroom door that, depending on the weather, will start sticking at the top of the door jam and won't close. The house is on clay reactive soil in Brisbane, so when ever it gets really dry, I think the house moves and then you can't shut the bathroom door properly or at all. It's very frustrating.
I have a few videos on how to resolve this👍👍👍
Thank you Bill another one for the memory bank fixing the problem correctly instead of using wb40.
Thanks Bill, I had no idea those problems were even a thing.

The other issue with adding WD40 is it attracts so much dust and grime it's gonna look horrible in a few weeks.
Man, I thought this channel was Bill Show To.......
Lol I should have spaced it out.👍👍👍
Well I never
And 30-90 days later it squeaks again...
I don't care what you say - you would have easily fixed those squeaky doors with some WD40 and not had to go to all that trouble. More interesting is how they all got that bent in the first place. Has someone been hanging on them ?
It doesn't sound like you even watched the video
