- To officially start ground reporting for the 2022 Assembly Elections, we decided to land in Goa. Yes, that's right - GOA! In one day, we visited a door-to-door campaign of the Congress party, the rallies of Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP as well as attended a public meeting of the Trinamool Congress. The aim is to give you a flavor of how the country's smallest state is gearing up to vote. With a few special appearances of PM Modi, MP Mahua Moitra and MLA Sachin Pilot, here's how our day went.

I was a student who came to Goa and lost our way...Carlos helped us to navigate through the way and infact showed us whole of Goa. He is an amazing personality...Not a fan of congress but would vote for him if given a chance...

I think u should not say small but educated state. Education makes a lot of difference
it use to happen even in delhi in 1990's when political parties would do door to door campaign now it has changed, they would even ensure you have your election card made and have name in the voting list

The case of Goan economy shows that service industry has its limits. Goa was one of the fastest growing state till Iron Ore mining was banned by SC in 2012. The problem of unemployment and wages stagnation started to appear after that period only. So, the Goan government has to find ways other than just service industry to curb problem of unemployment be it ecologically sensitive mining or any other industries.
