I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
Usually book on the 1st week of July for the best pricing.
Unfortunately, since Covid. No direct flights from Winnipeg to Zihuatanejo.
Last 2 years we have had to go by Westjet from Winnipeg to Calgary with a 2 hr lay over then Zihuatanejo.
On our return back we have had to stay overnight in Calgary to Winnipeg. Flightscare available Monday, Thursday and Saturday but no direct flights.
We usualy go there from mid January to Mid February for 1 month
All inclusive the last 6 times there.
Hopefully you are getting out of the all inclusive and trying all the great restaurants. Otherwise it's worth the trek!

Alaska has worked great for us to and from Seattle. If we fly to Nashville then it's American.
