Sandhill Crane Hunting With Premier Sandhills

Sandhill Crane hunting was a new adventure for us. It's definitely a different style than a typical duck or goose hunt. They're slow methodical birds that are more about seeing the decoys than they are about hearing calling. Getting hidden is incredibly important because Sandhill Crane have incredible vision. Put the pieces of the crane hunting puzzle together and you're in for a heck of a good time like we had with Premier Sandhills in Texas!

They are on my bucket list.
Sandhills are a nuisance bird in my area. The farm we hunt has thousands on it. Damaging the crops big time.
But they are still protected.
