- Surely someone has done this before. I refuse to believe mini potions in dice do not exist somewhere in the world. I must not be on that country's servers because I can't find them anywhere. So I made some of my own!
D20 mold is from OwlResinDice on Etsy.
This is so beautiful and creative
Thank you so much! ☺
I love this idea! Now I want a potion bottle shaped dice with liquid core
Thank you! I think I've seen some liquid core potion-shaped dice on etsy.
This is exactly what I've been looking for! I'm trying to write up a one shot and my bf wants to run an alchemist/apothecary character if it expands into a campaign, these dice with potions in them are exactly what I've been thinking about making for him.
Thank you for watching!
You could even make color changing potions with this. I made a fire-breath potion by putting a drop of yellow-orange alcohol ink in the water, and a little bit of red mica powder. When it swirls, it changed from orange to red!
@@Dare_to_Nerd That sounds really cool! They might be playing a lizardfolk so I'm thinking of making it a potion that reflects the color of their scales or something personal like that! The color change tip is good to know too for when I get more mix-ins and dyes!
I absolutely love this!!! I have a halfing mage who uses mana in my weekly campaigns. This is the awesome sauce I’ve been searching for. Thank you for this. (Btw I despise glitter too! It’s a crafters sin in my house! lol) 😅
Thank you! I'm happy this could give some inspiration! 😄
This is what I needed to find to make my alchemist dice
Happy to be of service! 😁
where you able to put this in the pressure pot with the glass jar in it?
Yep! I go up to 40 lbs pressure.
These are AI beautiful. Can you send me the link for the potion bottles, I love them. Thank you.
Thank you! I found the tiny bottles at Hobby Lobby, but I've also seen the more square shaped bottles at the Dollar Tree. Hope this helps!
I've seen other potionmaking videos that they use rubbing alcohol or adding glycerin to the water to make it swirl better
I've heard of rubbing alcohol, but glycerin is news to me. I learn something new every day!
@Dare_to_Nerd yeah, I watch a lot of tutorials and saw some for prop making like color change ones. I'll have to try making my own potion dice
@@aaronpaulus3492 Nice! You should definitely make some! :)
plz use gloves when handling resin!
cool project tho :)
Thanks! Yes, I need to be more careful.
