Good video mate thanks. My Suzuki wagon r would cut out when the fuel tank level dropped. Changed the fuel pump but still the same. Turns out it was black gunge in the throttle body. Same engine as yours so was handy seeing how to get at it even though was a different problem. Cheers.
Awesome, I have a misfire problem with my Zafira B and as both cars are pretty much the same except for chassis I really glad that I stumbled on this, ty mate
Glad it helped, thanks for the nice comment
EXCELLENT Thank you Gerard
just to note i watched your tutorial for doing it myself thankyou so much and of you could answer my qsn regarding the engine light plz would be great
Thank you.
Hi Gerard ..when using the spark tester on the coil pack ,would it not be better to ground out the other coils with jumper wires from the other coils to earth or does it not matter for a quick and dirty test to check for spark.Just wondering if we can cause any damage as the other coils spark has no where to go?Thanks for the vids..keep them coming.Subscribed.
nice job done handy tip. thanks for the effort.
Thanks very much Dan.
It was defo worth checking the first steps......Coil pack for damage after ya chucked it down the way ya did lol
Hi. Thanks for the video. I just replaced plugs & coil pack and cleared code. Seems a little noisier than before. Do you think it might be that I haven't tightened the spark plugs enough? I didn't want to overtighten.
My Astra H misfired on the motorway when I hit some pot hole and soon I parked at the garage for fixing it refused to start 🥴🥴 hope it’s just coil packs n spark plugs .... engine light came on soon I hit that pot hole 😩
good job keep it up gerard
Thank you.
What is the test called u did please mines misfiring on 3 x n I'm gunna change plugs first x
ok so my holden astra ts classic 2005 was doing the same thing. So i bought parts and installed them myself, not that hard.
i installed the parts and did it like its supposed to be done which is one way duh. and started it up and my engine light is still on.
Will my engine light go off after time and the computer will recalibrate it and fix the issue? Or should i of disconnected the battery before disconnecting the coil pack first?
good vid and usfull tip and that spark tester is great good job
Thanks Karen 🙏
