@@adityaunde4134 😁Yeah because nowadays people realise that they are not perfect according to their expectance so they stopped mentioning their imperfections to be happy.
My interpretation/ headcanon is that this is the same Joker we're all familiar with. He's at Arkham, and he's creating this story in his mind where he becomes a hero to the Gotham people and ultimately causes the death of Batman's parents. And that is the "joke" that the therapist in the final scene wouldn't understand, that Joker causes Batman's origin. The final scenes in Arkham are the only "real" Joker we see, rest all is fantasy in his head.

I always thought that the joke was he made it up to get her on his side, and she didn't bite, so had to be replaced. It's exactly the kind of sick humor that the Joker would be capable of. Don't forget, he used HQ to escape, probably by the same sob story.

He never really hang out with her neither was she his girlfriend , it was all his imagination like in an earlier scene when he was talking with Murray for the first time about his mother which was also not real

This is the best Origin story to be ever made and it gives origin to two of the greatest heroes Batman and Joker.... Like i don't think any movie has ever given such an amazing origin to these characters I wish they used this in The Batman as it has similar dark tone and continue with Joaquin Phoenix as Joker he would have been perfect stepping stone to DCEU it's a missed opportunity that they didn't.......

The plot : taxi driver with a little of Kong of comedy and you got joker
It depicts mental illness in a perspective for people who wonder what it's like...
It takes even more self control& composure to NOT force your hand to action like Joker did, Joker depicts a person who didn't hold back(after a point)
So what, you expect a person to hold back forever when subjected to such degrading treatment? I for one wouldn't.

2019-pre covid 2020 was a great time for movies... Joker, 1917, Ford vs Ferrari.. I had watched each of these masterpieces in theaters.

At the beginning of the movie when Arthur is doing makeup, you can see Batman's mask (in this video, you can see that at 1:31, but not that much accurate) on the mirror for a split second.
I watched a video titled 'The Likeable Evil' about this flim, I guess that sums it neatly.
Bruh this movie was dark like way darker than I expected it to be... It surpassed Seven for me... Cinematography, background score and acting were absolutely phenomenal...

I must disagree with you on that. Seven is truly DARK. Think about how they were all murdered and why. He made a man have sex with a woman with a knife attached to his penis. I can't think of a more horrific way to die or to make someone do.

with all due respect to the ladies would have loved to have Andrew the flash Gordon & Jaby react to this gem of a movie purely to see the comments on the art/film making aspect of it...just every frame was fab...one of the few ones that I watched on its' release here...which am sure is quite special to many of us...

Fr , it gets crazy when certain parts and dialogues of the movie gets relatable
That moment when you realize that one of the smartest Supervillains made up a story for his psychiatrist in Arkam to get sympathy, but it doesn't work with this one, so he kills her. Then gets Harley Quinn as his next one and she promptly helps him escape. That's the joke she didn't get.
I always thought he killed her because she never helped him get out of his condition and always sat there listening to his words but never really cared to do anything about him, not even reply in a helpful and hopeful manner.

I think the entire movie was just him telling the social worker his imaginary story and killing her in the end. For us it was his life story but him it's just another day in his imaginary world
Everybody is getting treated like trash in life; some less, others more. Most of us don't resort to violence towards those who didn't wrong us. One can turn against those who wronged one but not not against those who did not. Supporting those who resort to crime against whole society by making their own problems an excuse is unjust to most of us who do not.
Batman was also wronged by someone in society, but he turned to become a hero not a villain like Joker. We have Batman and joker all around us. Our ideal should be Batman and not joker.
I bet Bruce becomes Batman cause of wealth. If he is in arthur place, he would have turned as much as arthur to joker.
