WaterBuffaloesOfWater you have to remember back when the first 2 albums were released (which could be when he wrote it) mcr weren't really "known" by the larger community. It was mostly the emos/alternative kids who listened (i was a fan from beginning, there were literally only about 5 of us at school (in a school of 2000) that liked mcr lol. Until black parade came out) So unless they were sorta in that aesthetic, then no. No one would have known who he was
