  • In this video I am taking a break from working on the Cobra to install some upgrades on my Hydro Blue Jeep Gladiator. The first item is a grille insert, I remove my old flag insert from Hooke that is starting to rust and install a new aluminum one from Moveland. I then install a Quadratec seat mount flashlight kit and LED flashlight. Next install a visor repair kit to keep the sun visors from falling out of their mounts. After that I install a Quadratec dead pedal with matching pad. Last, I install a best top bestop sunrider top to replace the freedom panels. Applies to JL wrangler as well.

I have that same dead pedal with the cover pad. It is so nice to have to rest your foot. It was one of my first wrenching mods I did to my Jeep.

Agree! Totally worth the time and money. Crazy how something so simple can make such a difference. Thanks!

That grill flag is going to impede airflow.

I have been running these for the 4 years I have had the truck, never had any issues with temps or A/C when on. If I had noticed any issues I would have removed it, but 4 years and zero issues.

Do you have any loud wind noise or buffeting from the sunrider?

It’s a little louder with the sunrider vs the hard panels, and on three highway you get the occasional fabric pops, but to me it is totally worth it for the ease of operation. Thanks!
