      When you get there, go to the Orkney Archive at the Library in Kirkwall; they can give you lots of help tracing your family history.

    Great video. I was in orkney for a vlog series recently and loved it, highly recommended for all. Do you have a credit for the musicians?? Great soundtrack

    Lived there 12 years, good experience, (not somewhere to grow old in), we missed being immersed in our own genetic pool. The SNP and the constant wind took me back South!
    Living on one of the outer Northern Islands where typically there is 14 days a year when it’s not sensible to go out side( 80 mph wind 7.5m/s average with 15C max, surrounded by farmers who focus on only turning a shilling, where procreation of all types is the main topic is wearing,
