I want to play Ryu and Ken, but it's so dang hard to time the Kara cancelling. Mastering this deserves the utmost respect.

That's just bad game design. Gotta love how in any other competitive game, clipping through objects to eliminate your opponent is looked down upon. In SSBU, it's apparently applauded and viewed as skill. Yet another reason the competitive scene for SSBU is a joke.
