Me da la impresión de que el Compositor Alfredo Catalani compuso la Ópera " La Wally " para que la cantara la Soprano Lirico Spinto Renata Tebaldi apodada por la Voce D'Angelo. En esta interpretación del Aria " Ebben ne andro lontana " deja constancia de ello. APLAUSOS !!!

I am really questioning myself if Cabalé is actually better than Callas in La Wally! I think Cabalé has a better diction and technique??! Any thoughts?

Caballé is both more lyrical and more dramatic in a contained, less lachrymose way. Tebaldi more histrionic to my ear: makes it sounds like she's weeping throughout. Caballé builds more effectively I think. Obviously we´re talking about two extraordinary voices.
