These are the highest rated samples used by Gang Starr of all time. Preemo is a genius with some of these flips. Nobody else could hear some of these original tracks and be able to even attempt to do what he has done with them.

Most Preemo beats hit so hard. It’s usually his drums that make you notice right away it’s one of his productions.
Hearing the samples makes me want to listen to the original songs that were sampled. He sampled some great songs from the late 60s to about 1980, just from this upload.

If you know anything about preemo is that he's grown out of that mentality. He was only annoyed by sample snitching in the early days because of potential lawsuits it caused, especially after the bis markie case. Nowadays he understands giving the artists props and fair do's, making an effort that the sampled artists are rightfully credited and compensated. So no, he isn't against discovering the original sample and putting it out on blast

@@FonkedUpProductions aye it is the one I was thinking of. Like I said being it's not out on wax it's a precaution since he hasn't got clearance. Also doesn't want anyone from the internet jacking the beat and using it themselves and get all the credit. Nowadays you see Primo share the samples he used on 90s records like what he done for NPR. Also at concerts, one I have been to, he happily starts off with the original sample at the show then reveals that it's one of his beats. He even does sample snitching himself at the show's playing mobb deep and Wu tang joints revealing their samples. So it's fair to say these days he embraces the culture of people who discover where these samples come from.

Gang Starr are amazing. DJ Premier has produced some amazing things for them and his drums and scratching add so much. And then Guru rhyming over the top. The way sone of the samples have been flipped is amazing too. So I don’t agree with your comment in any way.
Hip hop mean nothing to me after I discover that almost every single tune is taken from older music (sampled if u like ) even worst that I've told that this is the base of hip hop ...
