I first heard this song a few years ago, and I brushed it off as something irrelevant, something I'd never be able to relate to. After all, I've already given the waiting game a try (2011-2012) and it hasn't worked out at all.
Here I am, ten years later (2021), and I find myself in love with the same man I waited for, lost, struggled so hard to forget, eventually moved on from, and unexpectedly..reunited with.
What's the lesson here, friends? Waiting is a painful, seemingly hopeless endeavor, but if the person is meant for you, it will always, always pay off.
my boy bestfriend recommends this song to me last year now he's both my lover and best friend.

Nirecommend nya sakin to 2 years ago, pero alam ko na yung kanta kaya parang simula nun, naisip ko na magka-vibes kami nito a. Pero hindi ko naman naisip non na may magiging something samin, ano lang kami, parang super civil ganyan. Pagtapos nun, wala kaming contact for months kasi pareho kaming may ka-mu. Well, shit happens, pareho kaming na broken, kaso mas nauna sya so nung panahong nag-break kami ng ex ko, medyo okay okay na sya sa paghiwalay nila nung ka-mu nya.
We talked again for months nun kasi nga mga broken, tapos umamin sya na nagugustuhan nya na ako. Ako rin naman, not gonna lie. Pero hindi pa kasi ako okay, ayaw ko namang maging unfair sa kanya. Hindi pa ako moved on sa ex ko. Edi tumigil muna kami. Maghihintay raw sya. Eh kaso, gusto ko nga sya, so itatry na naman namin. Tapos marerealize ko na namang hindi pa ako okay. Pagtapos nun, para kaming nasa on and off relationship... except we're not in a relationship. lol. Tapos months have passed. Naisip ko, baka naghihintayan lang kami nito so ako na gumawa ng move. Naging okay naman. Kaso napapansin ko, parang may mali. Parang laging nasasali yung ex (hindi naman completely ex, kasi mu lang naman pero sige ex na. Ito namang ex nya na to, yun yung babaeng naka-mu nya nung umayaw ako. Kasalanan ko naman. Ok) nya sa usapan namin. Turned out, hindi pa pala sya okay. Ang duga.
Ayaw ko nang maghintay.
