Around last 2 weeks ng May, nag-start nararamdaman ko for him eh tapos dahil dito sa kantang 'to gustong-gusto ko umamin sa kan'ya. May 31, year-end party namin, nag-confess kami sa IG huhu, gusto niya na rin pala ako 😞. Kaso wala na siya now ☹️☹️, missu po, spiderman ☹️☹️.

I didn't want to sound desperate but it came out like that. I already hesitated lots of times on giving him that tiny thing. I asked for suggestions from my other classmates on how I would approach him, if it would be a good idea or not, or that thought if he would reject me, but that's not the point! As they say, "take the risk or lose the chance". That was my third time confessing already. It happened during the rehearsal for our graduation which would be on the day after. You would tell me I'm too bold, brave or just straight-up ridiculous for doing the first move, but who cares? I had to grab the opportunity because I was going to be in another school for Senior High. I'm proven guilty that I have no shame but it's just a harmless confession... right? (or so I thought) Crass. Crazy. Chatty. That would be 3 words if I were to describe him. Harsh? I don't think so, because that's exactly how I would describe myself. It is really quite unexpected. Who would've thought the one that caught my eye was a gay dude who claims he's "aromantic"? He is crass and always noisy but he could be fierce and strict when he needs to. "What's there to like about him with all these negative descriptions?" I ask myself that question and I can't seem to formulate an answer. Of course, the world had to show me the answer for my delusional hopeless romantic self during Valentine's Day. There I found myself only looking at him throughout their whole singing performance along with his group. That changed my view of him, he looked absolutely charismatic there. Maybe I liked you because of how smart you are during math sessions, how easygoing you were, or how creative you can get in graded performances, and how unfunny your stupid jokes are. After my first confession, each time we made eye contact stirred something in me, how hard we tried to avoid each other. The silent treatment was killing me, especially that you gave me mixed signals after that. Are you that numb or am I just too assuming? Either way, I'm still at a disadvantage because you're too vague. Weeks after that confession, we started talking again and stayed as friends. Our other classmates tease us, thinking that we'd be the most unexpected ship. Class dismissal bell rings, we head to our separate areas of monitoring cleaning work. Some of our classmates have no idea of this information just yet, and of course you just had to be there when I bragged about confessing my feelings to you, my second confession. You showed me your disgusted face, I didn't mind and laughed it off. It pained me a little bit but I shrugged it off because I understood you. I accepted that you didn't feel the same, but why does it seem that your actions say otherwise? Although I do not want to expect too much after doing so and breaking my own heart so I brushed it off. It doesn't matter to me now, but I can't say I've fully moved on. Who would move on if you flexed your wallet with the keychain I gave you when your new classmates mentioned something about giving gifts to people that are special? Who would move on when you still mention my name out of context in group chats I wasn't in? But then again, I'm still my usual hopeless romantic self. I don't feel sorry for myself in this ridiculous situation I chose to be in. Although I beg for you to not keep me hoping that you like me back when you actually don't.

Nasa gantong stage ako ngayon, gusto ko umamin but at the same time, napapaisip rin ako to let things flow. Timing is the most important and hardest part in my opinion, pag napaaga, mataas ang chance na may magbago sa friendship niyong dalawa. Kapag nahuli, maraming what ifs na papasok sa isip mo. Hopefully, when that time comes, I'm 100% ready to take the risk of telling her everything. Taking a risk is always better than not taking a chance, and in the end, it all comes down to how ready you are.

Biggest Regret kong umamin ako dahil nawala yung dating kami (we are friends) basically i fell in love with my friend. I regretted that kasi every time nag sasama kami (nasa isang friend group kami) it felt awkward talking to him. Hindi kona siya naka usap ng matino because of that confession. How stupid of me thinking that he will like me too. Until now kahit ganon man i still like him hoping na bumalik yung dati na napaka close pa namin. I miss the laugh and joke we throw at each other.
