Nice comparison. The only reason I have the pico is for very close proximity to people and indoor flying with high quality video. If flying outside anywhere larger than my yard, I'd go with my ductless 3" any time over a larger ducted whoop. Just my opinion.
I've also flown both. Pavo20 is def nicer. I put 2s 1103 11000kv motors on it, and it still flies well outside. Pico flies a lot better with hdzero / analog and no guards
It's definitely the weight of the 03 that's holding the pico back . I bet the hdzero or even the walksnail version handles better . Might make a ductless version and give it a rip
My diy build is closer to the Pavo20 Pocket than the original pavo20, I fly with the Walksnail Moonlight. It can fly fast but doesn't have enough recovery for freestyle due to weight.

Yeah man a 3 or 3.5 inch quad would fly circles around the pavo20 for sure . But of the 2 the 20 is the best whoop
@@ts13fpv even for tight indoor spaces? I've only flown the pico, but just assumed it would be easier to control in the tight places. Maybe I'm wrong.
@kurtzFPV True, the pico is only 2s, and the 20 is 3s, so I suppose indoors the pico would be more controllable 👍
I have the pico and installed the betafpv 18000kv motors and man those it rip try it. Motors don’t get hot at all
