I think they did well with the new sequoia. However, the rear window losing the raise and lower feature is a huge MISS in my opinion. That feature was one of a kind in their SUVs/Trucks. I have that in my Gen 1 sequoia and love it.
More like $60k, prices are out of hand
true than add the $10-$20 k markups
I was thinking the same...60k is fair price but 80k😢 that's crazy
and some one will buy it@$80k pus fees@@NCcountryman74
$80 is the new $50
If you make the $$$$$$
Sadly, that's the new norm.
Except 95% of the working people didn't get a $30,000 raise. I will keep driving my old Sequoia it's the last large truck I will probably ever own. I use it in the winter my other runner is my Mini Cooper for nice weather.
That’s 20 years of inflation for you. The buying power of $50k in 2004 is equal to the buying power of $80k in 2024.
Wow, another winner from Toyota, Ben keep up the good work.
The new Sequoia TRD Pro is my dream car. I just wish the third row seats could be taken out and also a regular iForce without the hybrid
Bought a 2021 Tundra TRD PRO new for 56 k, now I can sell mine for 68k w 28,000 miles it’s nuts
Nope not anymore I have a 2021 trd pro tundra with 20k miles in lunar rock highest offer I’ve gotten is 50k and that’s all the stealerships carmax private party. If someone offered you 68k take it and run because no one will pay that
No chance. Used car lots are filling up faster than Joe Biden pee bag.
@@jamesp6283 1 yr ago maybe 68k?
Lies........yes perhaps a year ago...not today....new ones are out and many Stealerships are getting vehicles.....
Honestly prices are killer everywhere. That being said we had a Mazda CX90 less than 2500k miles. Great ride but too cramped and uncomfortable. We were gonna wait for Tahoe but we are gonna have baby 2. And for 2 kids great , any more and yes you need a bigger ride. We traded CX90 and payed rest off on the Sequoia TRD. It has been a joy and handles far better than my Silverado. Plus warranty and value down the road outshines ram, ford , Chevy hands down. No complaints we absolutely love it!
I've owned multiple Toyotas. New & used & they've all been well worth what I paid for them.
are they worth $80K?
@@jdbdidoek I haven’t been inside one yet so the jury is still out.
$81k is insanity.. Now u know y there’s 1.5 trillion in auto loan debt in America.
Insane for sure, and not to mention the maintenance.
More like $91k once the dealer hits you with all the additional fee's. Hard pass for me. I'll stick with my 35k 4runner until the wheels fall off.
Right. In this economy xD Jesus.
Needs more 3rd row and cargo area room. They should have retained the power rear sliding window. Glad they finally added a rear locking differential. Looks great but at 81k+, I'll keep my roomy 2021 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro with the reliable 5.7 liter V-8 and bulletproof 6 speed automatic transmission.
When are you suppose to engage the rear locking diff? Thx
Is Toyota scared of 35” tires or something? How come they don’t offer those in any of the vehicles from the factory? Given this is a TRD Pro model and people will just put on 35s right after they buy the vehicle, not giving a factory option is a huge miss imo.
Awesome the 2024 gets the black headliner.
This vehicle is very nice. But inside quality is very very cheap. Specially front seat sides. Crack's after 5k mile. Other sides also cracks with little tension. I am regrading buying this vehicle.
Will the next generation 4runner look slightly similar to this?
I really love the look of this. Such a shame what they did with the batteries. To this day, I’ve only seen 3 in SoCal since it became available.
same here, most dealers want $10,000-$20,000 over
This ^^ battery configuration a major miss. Don't know what else they could have done, but not this. Would also liked to have seen much better infotainment screen integration -- too big/ prominent. Also sharp-edged look makes it look more afterthought and sends it downmarket rather than the other way around.
10 speed at transmission wish they use it in rav4 trd
Not a fan of the new sequoia but I gotta say, that vehicle is not worth 80k and neither is the tundra… nice review as always though Ben 👍👍👍
Same with the suburban and the Yukon/ Silverado and sierra. Shouldn’t be almost 100k for a truck with some leather and chrome
@@AlphaTrgger for sure. Totally agree with ya. These prices are insane and the people paying these high prices have possibly lost their minds imo…
@@AlphaTrgger $110k jeep grand wagoneer
@@youtubecarspottersguide1isn’t that crazy?
@@AlphaTrgger couldn’t agree more with you. Way overpriced for sure on all these vehicles…
I think this vehicle is fine for two adults to take two other large people camping for one over-night trip. I can't picture this vehicle
doing any real off-road usage without spending a whole lot of money modifying the bumpers. I wish there was a Sequoia XL with better off-road capablities. Either way, I can't afford it. I have a 2008 Sequioa and it is on its final leg.
حسبنا الله سيؤتينا الله من فضله إنا إلى الله راغبون
The back end reminds me of the dodge Durango front looks nice but I'm sure it's expensive and I'm guessing the reliability and resale value of these will be good but for the consumers.
Not with twin turbos. Those things kill any reliability these trucks once had.
Oh really thought they fixed the turbo issue ?
@MaceySalinesiz You can't fix a turbo issue. It's the turbo itself that hurts the engines. That's why the good old V6 and V8 are so bulletproof.
New car pricing has gotten completely out of hand. 80k for a toyota 3 row. Can't imagine the lexus price tags.
Beautiful interior , beautiful car all around but not enough storage space that’s the only downside of it everything else is amazing
I would pick this over an Escalade any day
2024 Toyota Sequoia Hybrid TRD PRO 4X4!
Bravo! This one of the all time good video I've seen. Thank you so much for uploading this video. Learning is inevitable and knowing the classified strategy behind the financial markets made me profitable trading the live markets.
I really appreciate this effort in our current economy. I want to become successful how can I get started?

Absolutely, i must show appreciate to my coach by saying a very BIG THANK YOU.
I made 6fig in USD by myself after finding out about the classified strategy today.
I like the look of this Sequoia. It's a lot better looking than the new Tundra. Man, that thing is hideous!
I think if you're looking for a 'one-and-done' vehicle to last you for the next 10-15 yeaes and possibly 300,000+ miles, the price tag is worth it.
If you're buying a new vehicle every 4 years, I can't understand spending $80k plus, especially on less reliablebrands. Unless you're just super rich.
What? The Tundra looks badass in my opinion. To each their own.
pretty basic slightly upgraded suspension and badging and stitching doesn't make it 80k id pay 53k for it-but hey people are buying houses right now 300k over what they worth so it will sell lol.
Once again this is the front end that should've been on the tundra.
Are you Canadian?
Rear seats don’t even lay flat that is a huge miss.
where i live in northern va dealers are asking for 100k for octane red one
Well a pound of potatoes is 60 bucks in Northern Va. Lol. Beautiful area though
No PU is worth $80K.
The Sequoia TRD Pro has 19 more HP and 143 more torque than the Bronco Raptor. It also got better MPG and got a longer lifespan than the Bronco Raptor that why is not devalue like the Bronco after it left the dealer parking lot
And almost triple the towing cap
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It may be worth 80K if Toyota leaves you 40K cash in the glove box
The lack of a second row bench is a terrible decision by Toyota. Huge miss. The black and white interior being the only color choice on the capstone is a miss as well.
Still didn’t hide the rear wiper 🤦🏻♂️
like the grille and the shorter wheel base over the tundra .. add $10k mark up and tax /lic /fees $100,000 for a Toyota, like the solid rear axle too much of a luxury car , fold down 3rd row takes up to much space ,rich kids will buy them
no rear window, manual steering wheel, and 430hp in a car the size of a city block…for $80,000 lol
sold to you for $1,400 per month for 6 years lol just in time for the recession lol
80 k and thats all the trunk room thats ridiculous ill keep my ford excursion.
No it’s not worth $80,000. Trucks and suvs are not worth that and the regular working man can not afford that.
$81k? 😮 most people don't make that in a year, shit most people don't make that in a life time 😢😢😢😢
...ugh, I hope that gaudy, massive screen isn't in the 6th-gen 4Runner.
Who tf is buying an $80k vehicle at 9% interest??
Its a toyota...of course its worth the price tag
No AWD mode in an $80k SUV…
You can't find $80K SR5. Why are you posting TRD pro for $80K?
Fucking lit.
Amazing a Toyota Sequoia costs about the same as the previous Landcruiser with far less quality and refinement.
Not with that 6 cylinder.
Awwww how cute they tried to make
It sound like a f150 raptor 😂😂. $81k for a Toyota. What a joke!! You’d have to be a fool
NO, it's not worth the price tag or the high cost of ownership.
12.07.1941
With that logic I guess you’re not a Volkswagen fan either?
@@gdub350 No but VW is not a threat, their sales are too insignificant to matter, but indeed I would not drive one, even if the hippies did it’s hard to forget the origins… some remember, some don’t, the latter are doomed the make the same mistakes, the French did, and got crushed two times in a row
Over $80k for a Toyota 🤣🤣🤣
Camry XSE on Arnold roids...
No
This thing worth 80k? LOL
Hybrid drives the price up.
@@PRO4XKEV need more basic off road models , no power fold tilt this and that , no 2 sunroofs , this is a 3 row luxury car
Thats a terrible trunk area...
Everyone complaining here will regret not getting in at 80k when these vehicles will be worth 100k in the future.
lol............Don't think so buddy!!
please talk more slowly I don't understand even one word
Wouldn't pay more than $52K for that trash
Wow, sounds Japanese at first. Making a video why do you gotta talk 100 miles an hour it’s your video take your time so people can understand you. Absolutely ridiculous. Nice vehicle although. After I watched another video so I could understand what they were saying about the vehicle.
$80k - a new Sequoia or a 2yr old Land Cruiser… LC all the way
