Boredom= unappreciated peace
Not negating the importance of discipline, maintaining a virtuous life and ultimately eliminating all things that can have a negative impact long term and of course "boredom" can be appreciated when you adopt the right perspective on what's really happening when nothing is actually happening.
But life is to be experienced however one sees fit, because it ends, and having not taken advantage of this form of consciousness and the things it has to offer, being overbearing about abstaining from certain or all things that bring joy or pleasure is a tragedy IMO.
Overindulgence and distraction is one thing, but things that natural occur between, to and for humans is another. I think what a lot of people misunderstand about monk mode ways of living is that it's meant to calibrate or re-calibrate you to navigate healthy ways of living; mentally, spiritually and physically, also navigating your relationships with others while you're the best possible version of yourself at that moment in time.
Healing, balance and detachment aren't linear, this concept of loving, finding alignment within oneself as well as finding peace in solitude is a concept seldom truly understood. As simple as it all sounds.

That’s crazy!!! I’m in my monk mode now! Trying to destroy the old me and evolve to the new me. Soemetimes a man has to test himself! Push himself to the limit! That’s when you know thyself truly. Eating healthy ( alkaline), working out daily, no sex,herbs, hydration,reading and learning. smoking bud is the one thing I must let go!
