Technique book is important, we agree. Yet, ballroom dance technique is evolving and changing based on better understanding of body mechanics. There are many different interpretations of dance figures and also personal choice.

In ballroom move away from each other as if repelled, in real Tango it's all about heart connections, the dancers embrace each other.
